"Fantastic property. Quiet yet close to so many things to explore and do. The house is exactly as described. It has the best mattresses we ever had in a vacation property. The kitchen is so well equipped. We loved to sit on the balcony off the top floor bedroom and watch the world go by. The host is extremely nice. So quick in responding to any question and very helpful. "

"This is an interesting little space tucked into beautiful rural New Mexico. There is a small kitchen downstairs with a large open area perfect for meals, art, and games along with a full bath attached to the kitchen. Upstairs is a large living area, full bathroom, and bedroom. Walking through the bedroom is a separate room with two twin beds. "Beautiful home on the river! Cool mornings & breezy afternoons. Perfect location to relax and forget about everything!"

"We have often traveled through this area but wanted to stay and explore for a few days. We couldn't have chosen a better location! The casita was an enchanting historical building set in a breathtaking area. Floyd was so welcoming and gave us great advice of things to do and places to see in the area. Definitely the place to stay if you want to explore the beauty of northern New Mexico."

"The perfect escape from humid E Texas. Great weather. Coffee on the patio every morning in sweats and shorts after brunch. Lazy drive to shopping/dining (is NM doing a passive aggressive protest of TX speed limits?), so stock up since you won’t want to leave anyway. "Go to bed at sunset, get up at sunrise. No noisy alarms, rest in your sleeping bag on top of the mattress, build a fire in the old cast-iron stove if needed, wave at your neighbor, but leave them alone. Great sky views, Perhaps especially at night. Zillions of stars come out. Highly recommended place for a solo retreat, as I took."

"We loved everything about this sweet place. The yard and garden is so serene and peaceful. And the house is as cute as it could be. The location worked well for side trips to Abiquiú, the local wineries were fun visits, and all of the locals were friendly and warm. Highly recommend. "

"It’s a pretty isolated property. Lots of peace and serenity. The kids did dogs and s’mores after building a campfire. If you have a Tesla this probably isn’t the best place. Taos does not have a supercharger and the closest one is in Sante Fe. Actually I would stay away from Taos all together if you have a Tesla.
