West Coast 3 Bedroom Garden Suite

Walk through a garden oasis to access this 3 bedroom family friendly suite. The home is centrally located in a quiet area of North Vancouver. Walking distance to local shops, restaurants and trails, 5 minutes to Lonsdale Quay, 10 minutes to the mountains and 20 minutes to downtown. Great access for transit and plenty of free street parking right out front.

This above ground garden suite boasts large windows and opens up to a private, south facing 800sqft patio! There are three bedrooms with modern furnishings and ample closet space. Two of the bedrooms have huge windows with lots of natural light and include queen beds. The third bedroom has a double bed and is very quiet (for those that are light sleepers or for little ones who go to bed early and need quiet).

The suite has 1.5 bathrooms which have been recently updated. The full bathroom has a large shower (baby or toddler tub available), sink and toilet and the 2nd bathroom is the master ensuite with a toilet and sink. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are all provided, as well as hand soap and sanitizer. Feminine hygiene kits and hair dryer will also be available.

The kitchen and living room provide a comfortable, open space to socialize or relax. Note the custom cedar pieces throughout the living space. Guests who like to cook will enjoy a fully stocked kitchen and stainless steel appliances. You will have the option of French Press or Single Serve coffee machine with ample coffee, tea and hot chocolate for your stay.

The suite includes a private washer and dryer with detergent pods provided.

Guests will access the suite from the front yard. They will follow the stairs down the side of the property to the private entrance located around back. If you arrive in the evening, the pathway is well lit.

Please note: The park across the street is currently under construction as they are building a new Elementary School. There is no additional noise, we just want guests to be aware that there is no longer a playground across the street.

This was an absolutely lovely place to stay while attending our daughter’s wedding in Vancouver. The garden suite was a quiet oasis during the busyness of preparing for the big event. The place was spacious and well-equipped to handle all of us (three couples and an infant), and our hosts including their children were very respectful and made us feel right at home. Being in North Vancouver, there are a number of well lit steps to go down to reach the suite, so be mindful if your mobility isn’t what it once was.Thank-you for the memorable stay.

We were so happy with our stay! It was a very comfortable suite, suited our needs perfectly. The kitchen was so well stocked, nice to have in suit laundry as well. The beds/bedding/pillows were super comfortable.A walking sits nice to save on foods, cobbs, liquor and drugstore made it easy to pick up everything we needed.We had dinner out at White Spot, same location, excellent food.Just a stones throw from all of the great adventures, Aquarium, Stanley Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge.The family has littles but we were travelling with children and the hours were very conducive to ours. Not bothersome at all.Would highly recommend a stay with Nicola and Ryan!

Enjoyed our stay, especially the option to use the outdoor space. Overall, the space has a functional layout, fresh design and is located in a lovely neighborhood. Some points were a bit noisy with the kiddos upstairs, but totally understandable with young children. Perhaps a bulit more sounds proofing between floors would be a good solution going forward. We would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at the lovely garden suite. The suite is spacious and very well equipped and stocked. In fact it is one of the best equipped listings we ever stayed at. Nicola and Ryan were super friendly, and helped us with all our needs Would definitely be coming back if I ever am in north Vancouver again!

We were really happy with the house, the hosts were great. The location was outside of the craziness of downtown Vancouver but in a location where we could access Stanley Park, and other attractions with ease. We were also within walking distance of a grocery store and the spirit trail.

Lovely unit and very nice owners. Unit is well stocked with all necessities. Private outside area was a nice bonus. The property is beautiful inside and out. There are stairs into and out of the unit for those with mobility issues. Would definitely rent again.

Amazing! - 6 adults, we all felt like we were all at home. Very spacious, bright, clean and well appointed. Everything needed was provided without having to as for anything. Stayed at many others and this was by far the best. Highly recommend this place!

Had a great stay. We could however have done with a suitable bowl or jug to use in the microwave and when not able to sit outside found that another comfortable chair/sofa indoors would have been handy. Property sleeps 6 but could only fit 3 on sofa and somebody had to sit on dining chair. Also, out of date items I presume left by previous guests in the fridge needs to be disposed of. Otherwise everything was really lovely.

Our accommodations were clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking on the street. Minor issue with Early morning noise on the top floor from their young child, but she addressed immediately, and the problem was resolved. Very responsive.

This modern lovely decorated and well equipped apartment is very convinient for a stay with 6 persons. The big terrace invites to sit outdoor. The location is quiet and ideally suited for a trip to Vancouver city and also to Whistler.

The property is very nice. Well stocked, clean, nice amenities. While we enjoyed our stay, we were disappointed that we couldn't sleep in. 2 of the bedrooms have minimal shades at the windows, so the early sunlight in summer will wake you up. Additionally, we could easily hear the toddler running around and crying at 7 am, both mornings. One excellent feature is the walking trails nearby, and nice coffee stores and bakery within an easy walking distance.

This was a great place to stay for our family visit. It was clean and modern, had plenty of day light, and the beds were very comfortable. We really appreciated the owners accommodating our request to wash linens and towels with unscented detergent. We would definitely recommend staying here.
