"Our weekend getaway - we were greeted with a nice bottle of wine and snacks. The home was cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the morning and we encountered a young fox in the evening. We had a small damper with rain and an unknown burn ban, so we will definitely need to return to take advantage of all the outdoor amenities! "This home was very accommodating for our family gathering of 5 and had more amenities than described. Super cute and full of charm & history. We hadn’t been there long when we realized the air conditioning was not working on a hot July day. It was raining, too and there were areas that were flooding. "The cabin is just the right size for a couple. The high ceilings make the cabin feel roomy. The bed was comfortable and Kathy took care of anything we needed. We had access to the whole ranch and enjoyed seeing the wildlife each day, especially the longhorn calves. We cooked our meals there and had all we need. If you want to grill you’ll need to provide your own charcoal. The cabin is quiet and cozy deep in the heart of the Hill Country."

"The cabin was perfect for our weekend stay. Everything was as described and did not disappoint. It provided everything that we needed for our weekend and was a great location.
