COZY WATERFRONT COTTAGE WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEWS-PET-FRIENDLY

  • This 3BR/2BATH southern-style home is the perfect escape with its simple charm, cozy ambiance and rustic accents! Relax with a coffee (on us) and enjoy the bursts of sunlight from the sunroom or the newly added screened porch! If you stay long enough, you may get a visit from our friendly neighborhood geese! If you prefer to be closer to nature there is a veranda with seating, outdoor patio table, basketball goal and an outdoor fire pit. Upon request, we offer s'mores kits for the fire pit and fishing poles. This is a great place for families, or for old friends to reunite, or for the working professional needing a quiet space!

    High speed internet is available as well as a ROKU smart-tv with access to Netflix and Prime in the great room and a television in each of the bedrooms also. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stainless-steel refrigerator, microwave, oven, coffee maker, blender, cooking utensils and kitchenware necessary. Complimentary coffee, tea, and water are also provided.

    There is a master bedroom with a queen bed and a walk-in closet that provides ample storage room for luggage and to hang your items. The master has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a full-size bed with dressers for storage and the third bedroom has a queen-size bed with dressers for storage. The soft, inviting beds have fresh new linens on them. The guest bathroom has a tub/shower combo. Provided for your convenience are clean towels, washcloths and complimentary travel size shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste and soap.

    Additional information: For a small extra fee, one dog is allowed as long as it weighs 15lb or less. Keep in mind there is not a fence around the home or pond, so we do ask that they are kept on a leash.

It would have been nice to be able to sit on the screen porch when it rained, but everything else was great! It was very clean and cozy...perfect for us.

Great home, great location. We have spent many nights in Valdosta for softball tournaments and this home is by far the best place to stay if you're doing tournaments at Freedom Park. The home is no more than eight minutes from the fields so you can go back and recover in between games. The house is spacious and well appointed with almost anything you might need. I highly recommend the house and the host, both are great!

A beautiful well stocked house. Plenty of room for us. The primary bathroom was so nice. Love the view of the pond. Location was great to downtown Valdosta. Check out was the easiest I’ve encountered thru VRBO

Great home to rent, communication was excellent, easy, and very clear. The house was very clean and almost too comfortable. Everything about it brings you peace and tranquility. The home owner was very polite and great with communication. I recommend 10/10 and we will be revisiting…

Relaxing Getaway

The property is in a beautiful location for a nice quiet stay but close to main road for restaurants and stores. Neighborhood was perfect for my morning walks and home was perfect for my needs to spent some time with friends but also work together on a project.

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay for 4 nights. Nice property and screened in porch. Good location, and was only two miles from where our granddaughter lives. That's who we were visiting, so it was perfect for us.

This home was so Peaceful

Simply Amazing, the pictures posted don't do this place justice. The host was very accommodating and gracious. I can go on and on about this location but if you stay at this lovely home, you will Not regret it!

Amazing peaceful getaway

Was amazing. Loved especially the sunroom, screened porch, and backyard. Located by everything we needed. Host is amazing. Will definitely book again.

Short but sweet

We only spent one night as we were enroute home but would have loved to linger longer in this cozy home with a wonderful porch and patio in a beautiful setting on a small lake serenaded by grease, frogs and other wildlife. Highly recommended!

This was our third trip to Valdosta. The house is on a lovely property area and Margaret is a responsive owner. It's hard to find places in Valdosta that are far enough away from the train tracks and also in decent areas. Margaret's place is in a lovely neighborhood not far from stores. The lake behind the house added a really nice serene feeling. The house was as pictured and the kitchen was well stocked. The only thing we observed is that the home could use a deep clean. The door frames were a bit dingey and the primary bathroom had toothpaste specs on the counters and mirrors. Just some more efficient cleaning before departure for guests would be appreciated.

Great stay

The house was exactly as described, and we enjoyed our stay, especially the surprisingly convenient location. However, we did encounter some issues with the cleanliness of the property. Aside from that, the rental suited our needs for the celebration that brought us to Valdosta.

We had an amazing Labor Day weekend here. There was plenty of room for everyone. Plenty of beds and sitting areas both inside and outside. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out by the pond. Easy check in and check out. The house was clean and homey. Great neighborhood, we went for walks and runs in the neighborhood. Communication was great! We look forward to staying here again soon.

Great house

Rental was exactly as described. Very clean house. Anytime I’m back in the area, I will definitely rent again. I left a pillow and the property manager responded immediately and is going to ship it back to me. Overall a great experience!

Lovely spot in Valdosta

This is a super-cute home located in a lovely and quiet neighborhood. House is well-stocked with appliances and utensils. Communication with host was super easy. Who knew I needed a heated toilet seat? Loved it:)

Quiet neighborhood, nice pond and geese!

Very nice house in a quiet subdivision. Had everything we needed. Two porches was very nice. The kids fished in the private pond (didn't catch anything but the turtles had fun!). Very relaxing, very nice host. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything. The two televisions in the "guest" bedrooms aren't hooked to cable and don't seem to be smart tvs so they weren't useful to us. Bring a DVD player or something if you plan on using them for kids. We would happily return.
