"Alps of light", Clarée Valley, on the border between France and Italy.

Close (11kms) to the ski resorts of Mont-Genèvre and Serre Chevalier, the "Béouriou" is however at the crossroads of cross-country ski trails which run all along the Clarée valley (from La Vachette to Nevache) and even beyond ...
So much for winter.

But beyond winter - and for its light (blessed!) , - summer for its freshness (too long desired!) , but in all seasons, because the Clarée valley really deserves its "international" reputation for being one of the valleys that has known better than others (this in the whole of the Alpine arc!), keep its authenticity, this base point in Val des Près will come to you as a "haven".
The village is nearby: it is beautiful, it is intact; it is in the middle of the valley, that of Clarée: intact, too. The apartment is functional: it will leave you there; you will be at the forefront, forgotten about the rest.
It offers enough space for 4 beds, in the sense of 4 adults; but it can accommodate 6 beds, depending on occasional or family configurations. It is part of a collective residence, while being a little detached from it, reserving privileged access to the river (see attached photos). Bathroom (with bathtub), microwave, "cable TV", Hi Fi system, offer a good "base camp" for gaining strength, going on an adventure ... and changing one's mind. The mountain is there, all around, and who knows how to take it!
On the border between France and Italy, Val des Près is at the same time far from the world - it is simply above! - but it also belongs to it: the museum of "Castello de Rivoli", one of the five museums of contemporary art which counts in Europe, is just an hour and ten away away, and likewise all the Italian foothills. How to resist?
Pass the mountains, breathe the change of air, this is one of the pleasures that this place will offer you ... but from its own air! That of its untouched valley, caught between the Oisans massif (and its majestic Meije) and the slow descent, via the Val de Susa, to neighboring Italy, its plains.
