When I went to check-in I was told they tried to call me as my card was declined. I corrected the problem and they ran my card with no problem. "I loved my stay at ameristar kc. Only issues were they were not able to see my reservstion on gheir end. After 30 minutes trying to figure it out with expedia on the phone, the staff at ameristar decided to comp my room. Ill always be grateful to those employees and how great the room was. No doubt I will be back.when I am in kansas city "

"Aidan hotel is in an excellent location and the room was spacious. However I was on the top floor in Room 3b and it had some negatives related to comfort. First the ceiling has lower parts due to the roof. Unfortunately the bathroom portion is painted on black with inadequate lighting I hit my head s few times and then was sure to always bend down to avoid that issue. The lighting was low and absorbed by the black paint so I could not use my hand razor to shave as the lighting was too dark....

"It was very clean. Wonderful service, very good breakfast. Enjoyed talking with Luke about the history of the place and the neighborhood. Close to alot of good things to see and do, good variety of eating places. Will definitely revisit. Very good place to spend our 51st anniversary. Thank you Luke and staff."

"We were here for a dance competition, and there was so much room in our room that she was able to practice easily for all her dances. We also enjoyed the full kitchen, especially the stove. The pool was good, and the breakfast was delicious! The hotel is surrounded by a great and safe area, lots of dining and shopping options. "

"Enjoyed our overnight. Hotel is clean as a whistle, and contemporary in design. Welcoming staff--front desk, breakfast crew, cleaners. Room was spacious and functional for the two of us. Large hot shower was a plus. Breakfast was cooked to order. Open, sunny, lobby where we enjoyed a hour of peace and quiet. Safe location. We will stay here again."
