My room on the 2nd floor was cozy. And the bed was awesome. Breakfast is not included in the lodging fee but was well worth the experience. And the grounds...! "It was a very comfortable and nice place to stay with a lot of things within walking distance and having it next to the river was fun. They also have bonfires that you can sit by at night. It was a wonderful day."

"As a dog owner, this was the perfect stay. It is so convenient to have your car right there. The AC worked VERY well and the room was tidy, beautiful, and well kept. Everything worked great and appreciated the coffee in the morning! Just note you may not have great cell service, so knowing your room and code prior to arrival is very helpful to note down. Will definitely consider staying again!"

"My primary complaint was the morning we checked out. Actually we just dropped the key in the basket. You would think with checkout at 10:00 the proprietor would be around to see us off at 9:30. Instead, he was nowhere to be found. "A beautiful location. Hosts were amazing. Clean and tastefully decorated. My only criticism would be to add ports for charging cell phones and computers. Otherwise, it was incredible. We highly recommend this location!"

"Staff was wonderful! Our junior suite was comfortable. We enjoyed some of the older touches of the place as it evoked good memories of times gone by. Things are basic and it was very clean. The bed was comfortable and we were thankful for the ac that we could control in the room. Lots of easy walking and interesting places to eat in walking distance. "No explanation that our room was on the other side room of the building. Rug in room had many big spots, bathroom floor sticky, outside stairs dirty, personnel on second floor told us where our room was. Bed clean and comfortable"

However, for the price we paid we were expecting a decent middle of the road room that reflected the pictures on the website, but unfortunately that was not the case and the pictures on the website did not match the appearance of the actual room. The room was rundown; broken outlets, missing pieces to switches, poor paint job trying to hide the cracks and mold on the walls, poor lighting and drainage in the bathroom."
