"We had a fantastic holiday weekend. Cottage was fantastic. Fishing was outstanding and the bird watching was so relaxing. The host do a great job! We will be back again so!"

"This cabin is the perfect place to get away from it all, but in comfy conditions. We enjoyed breakfast and evenings looking at the lake and seeing turtles, birds, cranes, a bald eagle, and fish! The cabin has everything you need for a comfy stay. You are only a few mies from town, but it seems like you are further than that. Definitely pick up groceries in town because you will not want to leave to shop. I wish we had time to eat / shop at the Rustic Duck beside it, but time just not permit...

"Absolutely adorable cabins,clean,efficient, friendly owner. The only complaint is the mattresses . 1 was a air mattress, 1 was some sort of thick padding ,and the main bedroom was an older spring mattress that was very hard to sleep on. We loved our stay otherwise. But probably wouldn't come back unless the mattresses were updated. The plaxe "

"Amazing experience! Clean and comfortable. Easy drive to UCM. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We enjoyed our stay. Lots of space for all of us, even with a 1 year old. The extra bathroom is always a plus. Well stocked with anything you may need. Loved having the gates on the deck to hold in the pets and baby. Only downfall was the road noise. We didn’t realize how close it was to the road. We will definitely stay here again. "

"Beautiful setting on Appleton City Lake. Cottages are right on the lake and it was fun to wake up to the mist rising from the lake, rooster crowing in the distance. Later enjoy sitting in the sunshine and watching the ducks and sparrows on the lake, also heard some cows mooing. Just enjoy the fresh country air! Rustic Duck restaurant was very accommodating too. "

"First, let me say if you need to contact the host for any reason, it will be impossible. Even VRBO wasn’t able to get a response from them.Second, the house was gross. 2 out of 4 beds had sheets that had hair, crumbs and stains on them. The kitchen cabinets had sticky stains on them, crumbs inside the cabinets. The kitchen trash can is nasty. The microwave handle is broken, as is one leg of the living room couch, one of the beds head board was broken, the kitchen barstools are unusable, so...

"Nice stay in a quiet area. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. Some opportunities with cleanliness and being stocked with kitchen items. A good property with room to get to great."

"This cabin has enough room for the whole family, a great room to socialize and even a washer and dryer. It's very clean and super cute. The owner has a really cool store and we had a lot of fun shopping for games and snacks and looking at all the interesting stuff they had there! We had family rent a cabin near us, there are plenty of cabins for a family reunion or friends get together and a middle space for cooking s'mores or sitting around the fire. We really enjoyed our stay and will for sure...
