"We had a fantastic stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and had all amenities we needed. Breakfast was above average. It is situated in a prime location as well. Being that we were primarily there to ski at Whiteface, it was a short 15 minute drive. Everything in the town of Lake Placid is within minutes. Would highly recommend!"

"The front desk was very welcoming and accommodating. We appreciate the welcome champagne, cookies and hot chocolate. We had to check in and out at the High Peaks Resort which is infront of Lake House. It was snowy in January so it was as expected. It was mushy and all but we love the whole set up. "It’s one of the few properties in Lake Placid that offer a free breakfast and it is actually pretty good. It’s also located right next to a nice bar/restaurant that has amazing food as well. We come with our family every year and love it. The views from the main lobby/breakfast area are gorgeous of mirror lake and the mountains surrounding. "
