"Clean rooms and great views in Lindberg Bay. Older hotel. No restaurant but does have a nice bar and pool. VERY close to airport so can just walk there if you don't have much luggage which is the main reason we stayed there since we just got off a 10 day sailing vacation. "

"The room was very clean and had great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly. The space is beautiful and charming. Bartender and Restaurant staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt I’m staying at Hotel 1829! "

"What a beautiful place to stay on St. John, a great location with outstanding views.
The restaurant was wonderful, we had two outstanding dinners and enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar each evening.
Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful!
We are planning to return in 2027!"
