"Woman at the hotel desk had poor language ability! Difficult to understand. Had to ask her three times about her question as to if I had a pet. Very mediocre breakfast! They have a nice kitchen and an attendant. Why not have some scrambled eggs? Don't like trying to make waffles!"

Beyond that, everything is very basic (small towels, no tissues in the room, no storage space, etc). My biggest "complaint" was that although we were in a no smoking room on a no smoking floor our room smelled like smoke every night we walked in (and weed at least once). "This comment may not be true about all the rooms. Our room was outside of the main building (lavender room). The room had an old stained carpet that was not vacuumed at all during the time we were there. We know this because there were several dried leaves on the carpet from the day we arrived to the day we left. "We had no housekeeping for the last day of our stay which was last Sunday. We had to go downstairs to get our wine open and come back up no wine opener. We ran out of tissue what else? Oh our keys stopped working for two days. I had to get them recharged and we had expected to have breakfast you know complementary breakfast like the Hilton and other hotels I’m really shocked and amazed so my mother and I am at 80 six-year-old Mom and I who flew in from New York were not impressed. "The AC worked well and there was a dehumidifier in the room which was nice. The rooms weren’t well maintained and definitely needed updating, especially in the bathrooms. The bed linens were clean, the service was good, it just needs updating. Not sure I’d stay there again until changes were made."
