"My wife and I were traveling through and found the Lighthouse on short notice. The Lighthouse sits at the base of Saginaw Bay and has a 280 degree view of the water. The sunrise and sunset was simply amazing and the bird watching was incredible. We saw so many birds but the most impressive was a juvenile bald-eagle fishing on the bank prior to sunrise. The Lighthouse is small and tight but a perfect location if you want to get away and simply hit the reset button. You will not be disappointed. "

"The house was nice and very clean. The yard was spacious and just steps away from a large sandy beach. My kids enjoyed the lake house and it was a relaxing trip. The owner said the water level was down a bit during our stay, so we had to walk out a considerable distance from shore even for our toddlers to swim. Overall, the property is very nice."

"Nice area that is very family friendly. Beach with lots of sand and shallow area to play in. Plenty of room for our family of 12. We have enjoyed our stay here every time. Highly recommend! "

"Very nice stay. House was very clean, even if a bit older. I didnt get any "yuck" feeling walking barefoot through the house which always brings me joy! Excellent yard with a firepit and the walk to the beach was just across the street. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make meals. Would definitely recommend the stay!"

"Amazing house! Meagan and family have really thought of everything. The beach was large and the kids had a blast playing wiffle ball in the sand. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was large and included so many tools, including a fun s’mores box for the beach. We can’t wait to come back! "

"Great place to stay, clean, quiet. Saw deer almost every night in the yard. Close enough to walk to downtown if you want. Shirt drive to the beach and break wall. Definitely would stay again. Host was fantastic, great communication and very helpful. "

"The bathroom sinks were not clean, both first floor and second floor had toothpaste all over them which required me to clean them both out. Otherwise it was a great stay, beautiful weather and lots of time swimming and enjoying the town "

Had one very slight hiccup that was resolved quickly. Host contacted via phone within minutes of the message through Vrbo. It was winter and definitely will keep this location in mind for summer months! "
