If you are seeking a memorable Pacific Northwest getaway, you are invited to fabulous Union City Beach House at Hood Canal. This clean, comfortable and private beachfront vacation rental awaits! You will be amazed by the one of a kind, jaw dropping views, the wildlife, the tidal changes at your back door and the lovely sunsets.

👍Located on the coveted South Shore, guests are greeted with SPECTACULAR, UNOBSTRUCTED 180 DEGREE VIEWS of the Olympic Mountains and the picturesque "Great Bend" that are sensational from the large deck and nearly every room in the home. This beautiful and peaceful location is the ideal setting for a romantic retreat or just to rest, relax and rejuvenate!

This immaculate waterfront home is 1100 square feet, has a renovated kitchen, two queen bedrooms, and an updated bathroom. Suitable for a small family or group, the home accommodates a maximum of 4 guests (5 with owner approval only). This is a great location to stay for a bride and groom, family or members of the wedding party leading up to the big day! To keep you connected, the home has high speed wireless internet and a 51" flat screen smart HDTV.

Just 1.5 hours from Seattle and 2.5 hours from Portland, the beach cabin is at water's edge and has just the right touches to make guests feel comfortable and at home. A large, 700 square foot private deck overlooks stunning views of the Olympic Mountains, water and wildlife. Guests can easily access the beach and water using the heavy duty, aluminum, marine grade step stairs. In the summer, guests are provided a WEBER propane grill (not available Nov - March) and plenty of seating for outdoor dining, basking and relaxing.

Resting on the shores of Hood Canal and surrounded by the snow covered Olympic Mountains, the home is at a CONVENIENT CENTRAL LOCATION. Here in the town of Union, you are just 2 miles from Alderbrook Resort and Spa (Guests have access to resort amenities; bar, live music, dining, hiking trails, lawn games, spa, golf, kayak, SUP rentals). The Union City Beach House is just a 4 minute walk away from groceries, treats and specialty gifts at The Union City Market (located within the Hood Canal Marina), which hosts cookouts and is popular as a local gathering space. Also nearby is the 2 Margaritas Family Mexican Restaurant and the Union Country Store.

The tidelands and beach are fun for the kids to explore and for adults, sweet and succulent Pacific Oysters and delectable Manila Clams are easy to collect and do not get any fresher and tastier than this!

The water is warm and great for kayaking, boating and numerous other water activities. The scenery is awe-inspiring and ever changing. Our guests delight in nature as seals, bald eagles, great blue heron, belted kingfisher and many other migratory birds and ducks abound. The abundant wildlife and phenomenal sunsets provide ample opportunity for captivating photography.

Besides the numerous water related activities, there are many things to do at Hood Canal, especially for the adventurous! Head to the Olympics and hike Mount Ellinor, Staircase or other more or less challenging trails nearby. Several highly ranked golf courses are close by including, Alderbrook, Salish Cliffs at Little Creek, Gold Mountain and others. Nearby casinos include Little Creek and the Lucky Dog. Gourmet dining is available nearby at The Alderbrook Resort and Spa and the Union City Maeket offers authentic Pacific Northwestern culinary fare. Other nearby activities include wine or distillery tasting, antiquing, spa treatments or boating excursions.

Pets are welcome with owner approval and should be disclosed at the time of booking. There is a pet fee of $30 per night for each dog.

At high tide you feel like you are standing on the bow of a boat and low tide several bald eagle make the beach home. Well appointed home with all the necessities, clean, and a great place to relax.

Found this gem on Vrbo and loved it; especially impressed with the kitchen - lots of cookware, morw than just the basics, and plenty of space for two couples or family meal.Lovely deck with easy access at low tide to clamming and oyster picking. Couple of blankets perfect for morning coffee. Lots of nice touches, making for a very comfortable stay. We will very likely be back.

Host very responsive to all my texts & questions. We were celebrating my birthday & Mother’s Day. House was very clean & they left some snacks & apples for us to enjoy. The view was gorgeous we saw some seals & eagles. The bed was one of the best to sleep on. In all our traveling best bed so soft.Kevin allowed us to bring our dog even though he’s not services dog which was a plus for us. We definitely recommend this house & we looking forward to come back.House is very isolated & quiet if you looking to get away from all the commotion definitely this is the place to be. My husband & I enjoyed our stay 10 out 10 grading

This was an amazing location. Enjoyed watching all of the wildlife. We brought our dog and the property is enclosed so I didn’t need to worry about him getting out or hurting himself. The kitchen is stocked well and the beds were comfortable. We will stay here again.

My husband and I stayed in this lovely home for a 4-day weekend. The home was just as advertised, with all the amenities provided to make our stay comfortable. The owner was great to work with. Just love this area to relax and unwind. We would definitely like to rent this home again!

I arrived during a very cold afternoon and was greeted by a warm house with beautiful views. The lovely home was absolutely clean and a peaceful place. There were extra blankets provided for the extraordinarily cold days and nights. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked and so lovely. I wish I could live here full time. I truly love this place (I must as this was my second time staying in less than a year.). Truly recommend staying here!!

Just a pleasant getaway. The property is better than described - really nice and good place. Arriving was very welcoming with the heat on and the place warm. The views are fantastic, with the seals, herons, and eagles keeping me entertained. A wonderful escape from the city.

We had the pleasure of staying at this waterfront home along Hood Canal. The property provided a unique experience as the water lapped on the seawall underneath during high tide and offered breathtaking views of the Olympic Mountains. The accommodation comfortably housed our group of four and offered an unparalleled level of privacy along this stretch of Hood Canal. Situated near Alderbrook Resort/Spa and Golf Club, the location was convenient with nearby restaurants. The well-stocked kitchen had everything needed to prepare a delicious meal. The overall comfort of the home, combined with its scenic surroundings, made our stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a peaceful and picturesque getaway along Hood Canal.

My sister and i had a much needed and relaxing get a way. We loved the view and did a lot of watching birds and watching the weather changes. We loved the feel of being so close to the water when the tide came in. We will definitely be back to stay at the cozy on the canal cottage.
