"This was our 3rd stay at the Rails to Trails Lakehouse. Although the weather was cold and wet, we had a great relaxing weekend and even caught a few bass."

"We loved our stay at the Lakehouse! It had everything we needed for our winter ski break, including all the general kitchen utensils and herbs to prep our meals! Regina was a great host - easy to communicate and accommodating. We recommend! "

"We had a great stay at the Blue Elk Lodge. The place had plenty of space, was very clean, and the communication was great. It is in a very rural area, but super close to Elk Mountain which was the reason for our stay. I would definitely recommend to others!"

"Beautiful house which was secluded in the woods, very clean, cozy and spacious and great location for access to elk mountain, only downfall was the driveway was covered with ice and snow so we weren’t able to make it up with our vehicle, had to park in the street and carry everything in, the owner did warn us about this, a 4WD vehicle wouldn’t make it up due to the steepness and icy conditions, this was an inconvenience but still had a great time!"

"Stayed for a Father’s Day weekend with a buddy to fly fish. The cabin was perfect, as was the location. The property makes it seem as if you’re in a remote location, but it’s a 3 minute drive into town. The land itself is beautiful, and really well kept. As for the cabin, it was perfect. Clean, comfortable and with everything you’d need. Its location to the river system was great, and we couldn’t have asked for more.."

"Ww had a lovely, relaxing time at bear pause cabin! Amenities are nice! Very quiet area for relaxing and giving yourself much needed peace of mind from everyday stress. The weather wasn't the best when we were there, but we still got in some fishing time and walks on trails. Also went to different small towns for day trips and went to museums, parks and antique shops! C.J. was wonderful and helpful with our stay at bear pause cabin!"

"Great cabin on the water. Plenty of drift fishers to chat with. Layout is great and worked for our needs. Will be back soon!"

"James (the host) was very friendly and attentive. The location of the house was breathtaking. Short drive to the stores and casino (which we enjoyed) Would definitely recommend to family and friends.The only disappointment was that huge tub in the master bathroom is not a whirlpool/jacuzzi tub. It is just a huge tub."

"If a broom was available to clean the floors and stairs it would’ve been helpful. Also the floors were very dirty and needed to be mopped. "
