  • This beautiful lodge is situated in a pretty, wooded valley complex with outstanding views from the private balcony where you can relax and watch the local wildlife. Spend time relaxing in the hot tub and take away the pressures of life. From the doorstep are delightful woodland walks or you can travel to Dartmoor or Exmoor, both within 25 miles and discover magical moorlands and local ponies roaming freely. RHS Rosemoor (8 miles) offers 65 acres of enchanting gardens and events throughout the year. Exmoor Zoological Park is 18 miles away for some family fun, or why not head to the beaches at Instow and Westward Ho! on the north coast, and treat yourselves to the famous locally produced Hockings Ice cream.


    Step into this detached lodge through the patio doors into the open-plan kitchen/diner. This light and airy space is a sociable area where you can impress friends or family by whipping up a favourite dish in the fully equipped kitchen. There are two ground-floor bedrooms, one has a king-size bed with an en-suite shower room, and the other is a twin zip-and-link. Completing this floor is a family bathroom. Take the stairs up into the impressive lounge with comfy sofas and a Smart TV, open the patio doors onto the balcony and enjoy watching the sunsets on beautiful clear evenings.


    Heading outside from the kitchen/diner, there is also a decked patio area with outdoor furniture, where you can enjoy a morning coffee. Or tucked away to the side of the property is the private hot tub, where you can relax and unwind after a busy day.
