A charming one-bedroom apartment resting in the quaint village of Backbarrow, on the banks of the River Leven.. All on the Ground Floor:

No smoking.. The Flowing River is situated in the picturesque village of Backbarrow, The Flowing River is a charming ground-floor apartment on the banks of the River Leven. Designed with comfort and style in mind, the open-plan living space features modern decor and eye-catching elements like a plush blue sofa that invites you to relax after a day of exploring. The fully equipped kitchen allows for an enjoyable self-catering experience, whether dining indoors at the intimate table or taking advantage of warmer weather with alfresco meals beside the serene river. After a leisurely soak in the beautifully tiled bathroom, retreat to the thoughtfully laid-out double bedroom for a restful night’s sleep.

Backbarrow offers a peaceful base with plenty to see and do nearby. You can visit the Lakeland Motor Museum for a glimpse into local heritage or enjoy a drink at the Whitewater Hotel. Great quiet location and enjoyed watching the river flow by. Allocated parking. Apartment well equipped for self catering (need to take basics like milk, bread, tea, coffee, sugar etc with you). Property generally very clean but rug could do with some attention. Bed comfortable but felt a bit small. Sofa was the most uncomfortable we've ever sat on. Lovely deep bath but difficult to get in and out due to no grab rails and the shower was over the bath.
