"This hostel is excellent! There are multiple spaces for socializing or relaxing outside of the dorm room. The breakfast was a full spread with lots of options - and a beautiful view of Bergen! They had an activity of some sort every day - like coffee and cookies in the evening. I wasn't around to take advantage of it, but it was nice to have the option. I loved the location. It was a climb up from the downtown area, but it allowed for a beautiful view, and quick access to Mount Ulriken trail....

"The hotel was far far too expensive for what it was. Only allowed guests to use the spa for free AM, when the plunge pools were not open; shocking really given the unbelievable price we had paid. Would never ever stay again and would not recommend it to anyone."

"Stayed for 3 nights with family.The hotel location is good and close to supermarket and other amenities. It's a 20 minute walk to train station. No tea or coffeemaking facilities in room.In common area were there were facilitaties for coffee and tea,the tray was empty on a lot of occasions and when we asked staff just kept pointing at paid machine which was not very helpful. Self check in works well and also good facilities to store luggage. "

"Very good buffet breakfast. However, AC was not operating in our room, so had to open windows, as it got way too hot (24C) through the night. That let noise and light in. So didn't have a good sleep - the primary function of a hotel. One towel was threadbare. The bed was comfortable, as were the sheets. Bathroom was compact; only a shower stall, not tub."

"We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is clean and easy to access, and its location is perfect. The hosts were prompted with communications and clear with instructions. An excellent place to stay while in Bergen!"

"The breakfast was very disappointing. The strike by hotel and restaurant workers had an obvious impact on the breakfast experience;though we only found out on arrival, when at reception we were told that no hot food would be on offer.This was a major problem for my wife who has significant blood-sugar problems. The choice of low sugar foods was woeful with only two choices of fruit, both not classed as low sugar. The choice of cereals and pastries did not compensate for the lack low sugar...

"This place is bare bones and not worth the price. No phone in the room. Must walk down to front desk with any questions or requests. Don’t take room on 8th floor. You have to get off at 6th floor and walk up several sets of tight stairs to access the 8th floor. Front desk staff not helpful. "

"The room was fun unlike any other hotel I stayed in. The breakfast was great with a lot of variety and extremely helpful staff. The views in the terrace were as beautiful as Bergen is. There is no kettle in the rooms however there is one in 4th floor and also 2 microwaves which was very helpful. Towels were of excellent quality however they clean rooms only on request. Honestly that didn’t bother us. The main drawback of the room was the window covers and the lights. Although the decor is fun...
