"We loved our stay at Golden Circle Cabins. The cabin felt brand new, was very clean, and had tons of windows, which made it feel like we were surrounded by nature even while inside. The beds were comfortable, the water temperature was great, and the kitchenette had just enough of what we needed. Check-in was super easy, and the location was perfect for ending our Ring Road trip before heading into Reykjavík the next day. "The instructions were not accurate in getting into the unit and it took pver 15 min to get in. The bedding was dirty and looked used. There was zero heat and was very very cold. The hot tub was not filled and warm and when i asked i was given a rude explanation on it and that thw instructions in the unit would explain. They didnt. They were not able to fix the heat and i had 2 seniors and a child ao we had to bundle up. So not worth the money. "

"Heima Holiday Homes are located just a short drive from town, and offers supreme serenity and great Mountain View. Self-checkin was hassle free. The home was fully furnished and equipped. Floor was heated, including bathroom floor. We especially enjoyed the company of the property’s two friend dogs who came by my cabin and played ball with us (the dog brought its own ball to ask us to play, so cute!) The only one thing I would ask for is a little shelf in the shower area for us to place our own...

"This was the coolest place we stayed in during our entire trip. The room had everything we needed & had some very fun surprises built in as well. The wind was super strong during our stay but we still slept soundly. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Selfoss, but it is absolutely worth the stay.
The northern lights viewing space at the top of the tower is incredible! It’s quiet, cozy & has seating all around. We met one other couple while we were there & they showed us some amazing photos they...

"Check in and communication was very convenient. The place is very nice and cozy. Kitchenette has everything we needed. Perfect for group. It perfect weather and sky conditions, perfect spot for norther lights! We had also an opportunity to see a little bit of the aurora! "
