"We had a lovely weekend in the Shepherd's hut. Very cosy. It is in a very rural position but only a short drive from Beccles and Bungay- we loved the foodie shops in Bungay and the on-site farm shop. It was great to pop out in the morning to grab still warm eggs from the chicken coop, and the goats and piglets kept us thoroughly amused. A really relaxing stay."

"Great little, old quirky cottage in a pleasant village! Nice and warm, cosy cottage and a well stocked kitchen with tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc to hand. All facilities including dish washer and washing machine if you need it. Host was responsive and helpful too. "You can not fault Stella’s retreat in any way this is the best one that we have stayed in and I don’t think we could better it any were else and we have stayed in a few . "A good location and check in is easy - collecting the key from a local hotel. The description is a little misleading. The house has 3 bedrooms and a living room with a sofa bed. All rooms have en-suite bathroom which is fab. The sofa bed is comfortable and is a double. Nice airy kitchen/dining room. Would recommend. "
