"We really enjoyed our stay! Plenty of room for our adult family of four and our dog. Well equipped, even for Thanksgiving dinner. Really enjoyed the wood stove after spending hours outside. Quiet and peaceful. The only thing that would have made our stay better is to have one more double or queen bed. Our 6 ft tall son doesn’t fit so well in a twin bed anymore. Overall, a delightful experience. Thank you!"

"This place was perfect for our family. We were in town for my step sons graduation and we had lots of family coming. It was so nice to be able to have everyone together. The place was big enough that we did not feel crammed together. There was plenty of room. We also loved the location. We were in walking distance of fun shops and an added bonus was the farmers market. The host was awesome and was easy to get a hold of. We will absolutely stay here again. "

"Like that it was historic building. One thing that could of helped is better sealer around air conditioner, wind was cold the night we was there."

"We enjoyed a nice two-night stay in Pony. Having never been to the area, it was fun to explore local trails and to meet others at the Pony bar. The accommodations are nice but there's no getting around it being more camping than glam - come prepared, especially for meals, as the options are limited nearby. Host is great and easy to communicate with."

"We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at the Big Hole River Retreat. The house was beautiful and comfortable. The location, next to grazing horses and deer, was tranquil and relaxing. Access to the Big Hole was easy and close. A thunderstorm came up on our third day and we were treated to a DOUBLE RAINBOW-even mother nature contributed! We would come back in a heartbeat and hope to be able to make a return trip next year."

"We traveled from Washington for a wedding in Helena and wanted to stay in Butte at the home our family owned and occupied for over 100 years until five years ago. New conveniences have been added like A/C, Wi-Fi, and TV connections. Familiar features like the kitchen cabinets and light fixtures made us feel right at home.We appreciate that the home is still available for others to enjoy while in Butte."
