"Justin, while nice, changed the property the day of the reservation without explanation. He sent texts to me while I was traveling. There was no time or option for me to rent another space for myself and my family.
The unit we stayed in, I saw when booking and chose not to book. The unit we were given was smaller than what was booked, not as well furnished, and needed repair. The upstair’s shower actively leaked thru the kitchen ceiling, light fixtures were broken and would malfunction...

"This place was good enough for a one night stay, very basic, could have a few more things that would tip it up to a 5 star which I will share privately with the owner."

"Host offered to “upgrade” us. It really doesn’t take much to make me happy.
We did not see the original property but this one was cold, with just one portable space heater downstairs. Could not get the hot water working. The alarm kept beeping throughout our stay. On a busy street. I could go on, but the temperature inside was the worst and the fact that we could not get hot water. Not impressed - would not recommend unfortunately. Book at your own risk!"

"I'm writing this review based more on the host than the property at Deerpark. We had booked the Deerpark location, but the morning we were to check-in, we received a message indicating that we've been moved to a different rental location due to a 'plumbing issue at Deerpark'. We were assured by Justin that the new location would be better: more room, a big backyard, etc.
Upon checking in, it was bigger, but certainly not better. This place was dated and in need of several repairs. The carpet...

"It was fine. Beds were nice, and the decor was pleasant. WiFi didn’t work, and there is construction going on in the attached house. The email communication was unmonitored. Not the same value as other similar places where we’ve stayed. "
