"Wonderful overnight stay: clean, great location, easy parking, a quick walk to the town/Main Street, breakfast included, great value for price! José the gardener made our visit by letting us know about the different plants and flowers that they planted/maintain at the Squibb House. He was so friendly and personal-really made our visit such a treat! We will definitely come back when visiting Hearst Castle and the elephant seal rookery!"

"Staff/owners were extremely friendly, they couldnt be more helpful with recommendations, free cookies on arrival and the two little cars. They also gave free tea and coffee in the mornings as well as pastries and other breakfast goodies. The room was clean and spacious. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. I would certainly stay here again. "

"The property was nothing outstanding. It was adequate and clean. Parking was convenient as it's a small lot. What made it alright was it's location on moonstone beach. It's an older motel property that was upgraded and rooms remodeled, and I think $700+ for two nights was overpriced. They did serve a continental breakfast that was ok, if you wanted something light. It was quiet and the room was very clean. Close to the downtown area that if you wanted to walk to, you could. The ocean view...

"Beautiful property with some great offerings for guests. They had an area with wood fired pizza and live music. They also had live music in the resort bar. We didn't have meals at the restaurant, but the pizza was really good. And we got to bring our dog. We didn't get a chance to check it out but they have a dog park and dog trail. I highly recommend! "

"This was my first time staying here and everything was amazing. Checking in was seamless and the gentleman who helped me was friendly and warm. The breakfast both days we stayed was delicious and delivered promptly to our beautiful, comfortable and clean room. But my favorite part was probably the homemade cookies hanging on my door in the afternoon. I want to go back just for those cookies. I can’t wait to stay here again. It is a very special place. "

"This is absolutely a beautiful place to stay, they have a breakfast in the morning which was awesome, an area to sit by an outside fire pits, kids play area. Each room had its own wood burning fireplace but the best part are just across the street, you are overlooking the shoreline of the Pacific Ocean through the beautiful cypress trees. "
