"The Golden Rock is a beautiful, low intensity hotel complex, with exceptional gardens. It offers something quite different than other hotels in Nevis. "This is a charming hotel. The rooms are traditional, with some modern upgrades (the TV has a US Roku - a good choice for US visitors, although unfortunately it doesn't really work for UK visitors). "The villa was very spacious, the area around it was nice and overall it was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The staff wasn’t the most talkative of friendly but it wasn’t terrible. Communication was bad though, we didn’t know they could have the fridge stocked prior to our arrival and they never mentioned, we learned of this later reading guests reviews. "If you are looking for a place to detach this is it for sure. The cabin was great and the personal infinity pool was fantastic (but not heated) and the view was amazing. Some downsides were the bathroom being completely outside making nighttime urinations interesting. Not much hot water so use sparingly and not enough for us to fill the tub. No TVs but there is a projector with Netflix which was a nice touch but the volume wasn’t great and even at full volume we still needed the closed...

"Great location, next to MUA & the beach (secluded). Very clean room, not a single insect!! That's rare. Had a very good sleep assisted by gentle sea waves. I would like for them to invest in mini fridge. Other than that, highly recommended. "

"The hotel is nice but a little outdated compared to others. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The air conditioning was perfect! There is no bar / shop in the hotel but plenty just outside. I would recommend and stay again."
