"Within the hustle of the big city this is a very private, quiet oasis. Yet the city, amenities, and the turnpike are easily accessible. The place is impeccably clean and the host is super easy to communicate with. I cooked while we were there and the eat-in kitchen is comfortable to work in. The rooms are spacious. The landscaping on the property is very nice. Unfortunately, it rained during our entire stay so were weren't able to utilize the outdoor seating or the deck overlooking the...

No highway noise, no loud neighbors, almost too quiet ;) Plenty of off street parking is on site which was a big plus for me. "We enjoyed our stay at Gwen’s Cottage! It was peaceful and tranquil and a nice escape from our work routine! We found some nice antique shops and some restaurants offering local flavor too! It was a pleasant getaway!"

The house was located in a very quiet area that was also remarkably close to the highway. This was very convenient as each of our day trips took us in different directions. The house was very clean and a relaxing refuge each evening after long days in the sun."

"The owner was friendly and communicated well. She provided free dairy products from the local dairy to welcome us. Whenever something came up, the owner was only a phone call or text away."

I would highly recommend this Vrbo home and will certainly reserve it again on a future trip to the Pittsburgh area."

"This was such a perfect home to have a retreat for our church's Women's Ministry. The outdoor atmosphere is so relaxing and feels secluded without being too far from shops. The home was clean and so welcoming. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms so clean and updated, and the living areas provided a great space to gather for discussion and hang outs. We would love to book and stay again in the future. Absolutely book again for future trips if available. "

"The house is 2 blocks from the Main St and all the neat restaurants and shops. Each bedroom is large, with a sitting room and bathroom. The Speak Easy was seriously cool. This is a house in town, so there are close neighbors and city parking. We would definitely stay again!"
