"This cabin is amazing. Right on the water, has everything you need in the kitchen, and is perfect for a large family getaway or a trip with two, or even three families if you rent the optional bunk house as well. We had a group of 4 guys for a golf trip. We got rained out and couldn't play, so we just stayed at the cabin and had a great time telling stories and enjoying the view. Highly recommend and I would def rent again. Beautiful setting!"

"Stay was exactly what we expected. Nice and quiet house. Across the street from a nice quiet ball park. Had fun feeding the local crows (sorry if they haunt the house now waiting for donut holes) Had absolutely no problems at all. Communication was stellar. Only thing that could have been considered a problem that really wasn’t I already addressed with the manager. Just had to do with handicap accessibility. Nothing “dangerous” like I said just a recommendation for the future. Definitely a good...

"Fabulous spot for inter-generational family long weekend. Plenty of space, nicely cared for home, comfortable and inviting. Even in winter this lake house had lots to offer. We enjoyed board games, the game room and were surprised by the number of great local hikes and paths through the woods. Allowed for lots of outdoor time. Recommend if your looking for a nice getaway."

"We spent Bates Graduation weekend at Sailors Rest. Paul and Kevin were fabulous hosts and Sailors Rest was the perfect port in the bittersweet graduation storm. I do hope we’ll be back. "

"This is a good property. It was clean, had a well-appointed kitchen, and the location is great for enjoying anything the Lakes Region has to offer. The managers were very communicative and easy to work with. The only reason this is 4 stars is we did feel a little misled by the listing. There is definitely no hot tub at this property. There's a nice big bath tub, which can be filled with hot water, but that doesn't make a hot tub. It also claims to sleep 14, and unless those are small children or...

"We had a relaxing and comfortable weekend away. Quiet and peaceful and we loved the hot tub! Cabin was very homey and clean. "

The backyard was very peaceful, right next to a stream. The home was well appointed and had everything we needed. The communication with the host was great."
