"A great place to stay with older children and nice that it’s so close to the beach. Great facilities and we really appreciated the fireplace which made the house cosy on the cold evenings. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a great weekend away. "

"I had a truly wonderful stay. Although I was traveling for work this location was serene and surrounded by beautiful nature - Perfect for disconnecting and unwinding after a long day. The home was clean, cozy and thoughtfully prepared, well equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Kathie was extremely responsive, making the entire experience seamless. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet escape. I hope to return again soon. "

"Monday Cottage at Castlecliff is a charming and delightful holiday cottage. It has a very nostalgic feel, and the furnishings are brilliant to the period. It is close to the main beach which has lovely sunsets. For anyone wanting a true taste of period New Zealand then this is an ideal holiday base and location."

"Lots to recommend this stay. An easy walk to all of Whanganui's attractions—from the not to missed Saturday River Market, the steamboat, Sargent Gallery and many other smaller establishments, shopping, eating and only 20 mins to the beach"

"Beautiful home, only downside was the host was pretty much in the next room. Communication was good, host was helpful and we had extra guests @ 25 per head. I would definately stay again and recommend this property to visitors "

"Wow what an absolute stunning place. We were definitely not expecting this. Out in the country with a view from our upstairs room out over the valley. Private deck area with Kereru in the trees beside us. Frances even left us with feijoas, homemade muesli, yoghurt bread, milk and spreads which was not expected. Thank you so much for sharing your little piece of paradise"
