"Our group included a couple of siblings in their 60’s and niece with a couple of her children. The home was perfect for our gathering but perhaps the most perfect part of the home was the yard and the creek!! Southern Illinois held so many hiking and waterfall adventures. I’d highly recommend checking out so many hidden gems in America!!"

"I rented this cabin for my dad and aunt to come down for Memorial Day weekend as they have done for the last 2 years. This year was the little different my dad suffered a heart attack and didn't make it the host was amazing and offered an extra night so that my brother could come in to make funeral arrangements. I highly recommend this cabin not just because it is very lovely but also because the host is amazing! "

"Really pretty property with several amenities to make your stay enjoyable. Cozy and comfortable and felt like a home rather than a rental. We hosted some local family for a cookout and had everything we needed to prepare a big dinner. Neighbors were very friendly. The kayaks were a great addition as well. "

"This was a perfect location for our family to meet with friends from out of town. The house has a luxurious cabin feel, and there are plenty of spaces for people to spread out and play games or talk. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, which made it easy for us to cook up some favorite meals. The property manager was friendly and responsive to questions we had. The floors could have been cleaner when we arrived, and I'm sure they would have taken care of that if we'd contacted them about it,...

"Our family stayed at this lakefront property for a short weekend getaway to do some hiking near Garden of the Gods. The property was clean and spacious with plenty of activities for the kids and room for everyone to have their own privacy as well. Would recommend this place for small groups or families! "

"We had a blast at this comfortable home. We didn’t so much but lounge around, playing games and eating. The kitchen was well stocked and we never felt like we didn’t have anything we needed. The bath towels were luxurious and not those thin towels hotels use. Would have liked a softer lamp or something in the living room as the only light came from the overhead ceiling fans. I can see where this place would be great for a summer vacation!"

"We booked a long weekend here for my dad’s 70th birthday and couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The home has been nicely updated but still contained plenty of original touches that have it character. The outside space was great! We spent a lot of time on the deck, used the grill and fire pit, and of course the lake! We were very impressed with all of the lake toys the shed offered, especially the kayaks. The inside was set up perfectly for our group and our teenager appreciated her own space...
