"Very nicely decorated room with comfy bed. The Refuge Inn is very close to the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and was a great home base for our beach day. Complimentary breakfast is delivered to your door in the morning. My only (small) critique of our stay is the breakfast options were not great and the breakfast sandwich was not that good. "The aesthetic of the cottages is quintessential beach chic, which I appreciate. We stayed in one of the Key Lime cottages which had plenty of space for two people. Sunsets here are hard to beat and if you're a birder, there is a crazy amount of waterfowl that come right up to the docks. The bathroom is very nice and the beds are comfortable. The pool is great but can get crowded with kids. The location is very close to many stores and restaurants on Main and Maddox. I would definitely stay...

"The room was clean at first look. But the air conditioner vent was dirty (I cleaned it) and there were cobwebs above the curtain, but that was it.
There was a busted floor tile and they glued it down, there was also a threshold thing that was sticking up that I scraped my foot on (didn't cut me). Pool was very nice, just aged."
