"We had a wonderful family vacation here! The home is modern, clean, and fully stocked with everything you might need during your stay, which is so helpful if you’re coming from far away. The location and view are beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The property manager is kind, prompt and very helpful. Our three young children enjoyed the bunk beds and the outdoor area. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a great time staying at this property. It is in the heart of Connemara with easy access to Kylemore Abbey, Connemara NP, Clifden, Galway and Westport. The islands are very close as well. As you should expect Irish weather changes on a dime from rain to sun and back in a moments notice. The owners live on the property and are very friendly and helpful."

"What a home… the view, the space, the location are all stunning. John made the check in incredibly simple and was kind enough to drop by the next day to welcome us. If you’re looking for (somewhat) remote tranquility on a stunning Irish peninsula, stop scrolling. For the very reasonable price John charges, you won’t find better. I promise you! Clean, spacious, well equipped and PLENTY to do within a short drive, you have it all in this lovely home and area."

"Brilliant house, one of the best that we have stayed in. The views amazing and the house has everything that you need. We had a good chat with the German neighbour who gave us some tips on seeing the seals nearby. We loved all of the beaches in the area and had a couple of good meals in Westport. "

"Wir haben zu viert 9 Nächte im Ferienhaus verbracht und hatten eine tolle Zeit!Ausstattung und Möbel sind sehr hochwertig und es ist alles vorhanden, was man brauchen könnte - Geschirr, Gewürze, Waschmittel, Kaffee etc. Die Betten waren sehr kuschelig und bequem, die Bäder sind modern ausgestattet und sowohl die Küche als auch das Wohnzimmer haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.Die Umgebung ist wunderschön! Das Haus liegt direkt an einer kleinen Bucht mit Blick über das Meer und sanfte Hügel....

"Sehr schönes Haus. Prima Zimmeraufteilung für eine große Familie oder Gruppe 8-18 Personen. Gut ausgestattete Küche, großer Essbereich, gemütliches Wohnzimmer. (Kleines Manko sind einige Bäder ohne Heizung - dadurch schwer Handtücher zu trocknen). 5 Minuten vom Pub entfernt mit sehr leckeren Essen und netter Bedienung. Sehr schöne und ruhige Umgebung. Tolle Ausflugsziele in der Nähe. "

"Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

My wife, baby and I stayed in the attached studio, while my parents, mother in law, sister and nephews where in the 4-bedroom 2-bathroom main house.
