"The Horse and Jockey was a great place to spend a few nights and have day trips around Ireland. It was really hot when we were there and they brought a fan to our room, that was great. The shampoo and body wash smell amazing! The breakfast was great and the servers were so nice each morning. I would definitely stay there again."

As for the accommodation, there is absolutely nothing to complain about: the room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable for a good rest. "Hotel is OK but I was expecting something better. Staff was nice and kind, room and hotel quite clean; it was hot and rooms are not air conditioned, but the worst was windows are not allowed to open but a small space. Experience was not good at all, we could not sleep well because of hot. In adittion breakfast is fair but limited. For me is. 3.5/5"

"This was an overall nice hotel. The inside is a little maze like on a long winding path that involved going up stairs then down stairs and such but the room itself was great. Very clean and comfortable. I will say, we didn’t know before hand but apparently Kilkenny is a party town on weekends with lots of large groups going from pub to pub and it was loud outside until 3 or 4 am. Not something the hotel has any control over, obviously, but something to keep in mind if you’ll be staying here over...
