Review

The property was as advertised but a few issues. Never rec'd entry instructions, asked several times and ended up calling on our way to property. We stayed for 17 days and this wasn't set up for an extended stay. One roll of toilet paper, no paper towel, one washcloth in house and one in small aptmnt. I don't like to ding properties but it just didn't live up to what we were used to in a rental. This was a first VRBO experience. I reached out to the owner through VRBO but did not receive responses other than after we initially booked the days. I did receive one message from the brother of the owner. On the flip side...bed was very comfortable, bathroom was nicely redone. Just struggled with communications and not having some of the basics.

Our stay in Tucson

This is a beautiful home with a lovely backyard. The beds were super comfortable. The owner has done some very tasteful remodeling in the bathroom. We enjoyed peace and quiet and felt quite safe during our visit to the Gem and Mineral show. We didn't realize the cabana in the back yard is included in the rental. This rental would be perfect for 3 couples.

Perfect for a sporting event at UofA

5–10 min drive to the softball stadium. The accommodations are nice, comfy and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Great yard.

Lovely yard for seeing and hearing birds. Casita hot water needs fixing. The second bedroom was also a hallway for the person staying in the casita as she had to come through on her way to the rest of the house. We managed and had a great visit.

Quaint House and Casita

This place is a little bit funky, but it totally fits in the style of Old Tucson. It is located very conveniently in a quiet neighborhood and has a lovely backyard with patio seating, fire pit and space to roam. The kitchen was well-stocked and there was even fresh 1/2 & 1/2 in the fridge. Hot water in the casita is a bit limited, but the house has lots of hot water for showers. The house smelled very clean when we entered, and everything did seem very clean. A great value for the price!

The main house is fine; the casita had some issues. The landscape is beautiful, the neighborhood is safe, and altho not quite walking distance to essentials, the central location in Tucson is convenient to wide interests.

Sweet property with gorgeous outdoor space

We stayed two weeks at this property and had a great time. After a few initial snafus with heating and hot water, everything went well - Victor even left us a loaf of fresh Barrio Bakery bread as an apology for the inconvenience! As others have noted, the house is well set up for cooking and has high quality pots, pans, cutlery, etc. The location was perfect and within in easy access to many Tucson destinations. The outdoor space was really the highlight of this home, and we used it whenever we could.

Clean, Updated House Near UA

This is a nice updated house with a pretty back yard area. We were visiting our daughter who is a UA student and this property was well located for that. Neighborhood was quiet and convenient to nice retail (e.g., Whole Foods, Starbucks). Owner made everything easy. I would stay there again.

Dessert Oasis Garden

The house is small and sweet. Great kitchen for cooking. The outside space is what is best. Multiple seating areas both shaded and full sun. Lovely terrace and plantings.

Enjoyed our stay in Tucson

This was a great property at a reasonable price. Two couples stayed for 3 nights for biking and hiking in the area. The main house had 2 bedrooms and there was a cottage in back with a bedroom, bath and refrigerator. It was great for privacy! The kitchen had great pots and pans but alas, no toaster. Still, we enjoyed sharing our meals on site. We even used the Weber grill in the yard. Would recommend the property.

Wonderful!

Everything about this home was lovely, from the beautiful hardwood floors to the beds, linens and bath towels. The kitchen is set up perfectly with top quality cookware, knives and utensils. . The back yard is fabulous; private and spacious. Thank you!!

So lovely

The location is perfect for walking. We walked to a different restaurant every night. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet but the best part of this location is the backyard! Sunny for those who like a sunny morning coffee, shady for those who want be outside listen to the birds but stay out of the sun. The house is lovely and has everything you need. Oscar the host is the sweetest and super responsive. Just a great stay all around.

Great house in a quiet neighborhood

We were very pleased with this property. It is an older house in a very quiet, walkable neighborhood that is close to so many restaurants and attractions. The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed.
