Amazing City And Mountain Views From The Foothills Of The Catalinas

  • Fully furnished 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom Santa Fe Style hillside casita, with incredible views of the mountains and the city of Tucson. The guesthouse is fully furnished, including a clothes washer and dryer, and is located in the foothills of the Catalinas, at the base of Mount Lemmon. Our guesthouse is located on a three acre property, is surrounded by Saguaros, Ocotillo, and desert wildlife, and has a private patio with a private hot tub.

    Arizona National is the closest golf course and is only a 5-10 minute drive from our casita. The closest shopping center is 5 miles (10 minutes) away, according to Google Maps. The drive up to Mount Lemmon starts only minutes away and leads to hiking, cycling, mountain biking, camping, fishing, scenic overlooks, and skiing (depending upon the season and the weather). By car, downtown Tucson is 36 minutes away, and The University of Arizona is 29 minutes away (both according to Google Maps).

    The guesthouse is designed to accommodate up to 2 people using the king size bed, but we may be able to accommodate a couple with a small child, as well. Please contact us about this situation ahead of any requests for booking.

Hosts were amazing, very helpful and accommodating. Referred us to some great hikes, restaurants and museums. Casita was super clean and comfortable. The vistas were amazing. Saw birds and coyotes everyday. Convenient location, very quiet and private.

Best rental ever! Friendly host, well equipped kitchen, stunning views, and FANTASTIC access to trails. Traveled to Tucson for the National Park but the Saguaros in the neighborhood and surrounding area of this rental were arguably more beautiful and plentiful. Watched new years eve fireworks from the hot tub!

We love everything about this charming and comfortable casita. It is so peaceful and pretty, and the views of the city at night are quite remarkable. Our hosts were gracious and friendly, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed but also giving us plenty of privacy. We had a wonderful week exploring Tucson and the surrounding area. We enjoyed coming back to the casita and relaxing in the hot tub or soaking up the sun on the back patio. The kitchen was well-stocked, the king size bed felt great, and my husband especially appreciated the fabulous walk-in shower with beautiful tiling. Thank you so much! We look forward to visiting again in the future!

Wonderful vacation.

We are golfers. We can access many golf courses, and enjoy the hot tub after a round. Nearby Safeway and many restaurants. We’ve stayed five times. Will come back again if we can.

Perfection!

This casita was perfect for my husband and I. The laundry on site was so incredibly helpful. The views are amazing., the architecture of the casita is adorable :) The amenities are great - form the hot tub, to the shower, to the electric cooking plate. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Tucson again.

Loved this casita!

Had an amazing time staying at Alejandra and Michael's casita. Alejandra welcomed us with a home grown grapefruit from their tree, which was lovely. Perfect, peaceful little get away spot!
