"What a wonderful place to eat and stay! 5 star service from the staff, 5 star food quality and the rooms were immaculate. Breakfast was beautiful every morning with so much choice. This was a break after finishing cancer treatment for me, I wanted a relaxing break and one of the party was gluten free. We were treated like family, one of the party even stayed an extra night! We had a wonderful stay and we will be returning as soon as we can. Thank you, we loved our stay with you. "

"This is a little gem to find - excellent accomadation and staff along with Quiet surroundings Food id second to none with a wide range for starters and main meal.Rooms are tastefully done with all the usual requirements and fresh milk is from a vacuum flask so its all fresh. Toilets are spotlessly clean and well laid out along with general condition is very good.Thank you and well done to all."

"We stayed two nights b&b in a dog friendly room. It was as we expected, an old coaching inn and busy bars. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very good and the staff were attentive. Good value for money "

"Overall, a charming property with real character. The room was beautifully decorated, well appointed, and the bed was especially comfortable—perfect for unwinding. The bathroom was clean and modern, with good-quality fixtures, though some of the furniture and smaller fittings (like the towel rail and toilet roll holder) could use a bit of tightening or TLC. "We had a wonderful stay at the Lakes. It’s such a beautiful setting with so many activities on offer including a spa. We ate in the restaurant and it really is an experience- the food and service were outstanding. Bedrooms are beautiful - decor and furnishings. Guest services were very helpful both prior to arrival and on the day. We we definitely be back! "

"A quaint hotel. It was very quiet, not sure if that was because of the bank holiday. The pub and restaurant were great and check in was quick and friendly. The room was very small and unfortunately, our view was the dumpster for the kitchen. We met a few locals while having a pint. Overall a great place!"
