大分駅からすぐで立地は良いが、 荷物を下ろすため車を停め られる所がホテルになくやや不便ではある。 大浴場の温泉と炭酸泉の質と眺めが良かった。 スチームサウナは老朽化からか、スチームが出る場所の壁が汚れていて掃除があまり行き届いてない印象。 ホテル全体はやや古め。

源泉が出てくるということで楽しみにしていたが、全く出てこなかった。すぐに問い合わせたが、返答に時間がかかり、チェックインしてから夕食のまでの間に温泉に入ることはできなかった。また、こちらの注意不足だが、外の浴槽は水しか出ないこと・サウナは温まるまでかなりの時間を要することをもっと大々的に伝えていただきたい。 宿自体はきれいで駅からも近いのでよかった。
