Welcome to Newly Renovated Bear Creek Cabin, nestled in the rolling hills and lush greenery of Columbus’ Horse Country. This stunning 2-bedroom cabin with an additional Sleeping Loft offers the perfect getaway for those looking to unwind and connect with nature.

• Loft: Ideal for older children or singles, featuring twin beds and a dedicated newly renovated bathroom with shower.

A short drive from downtown Columbus, the cabin’s location lets you enjoy the best of both worlds. Local attractions including the Tryon Equestrian Center and Mountain Brook Vineyards, dining and shops are within reach, but you may find it hard to leave the serenity of Bear Creek Cabin.

The cabin is easily accessible with a newly paved driveway right up to the cabin.

The Kitchen has all the essentials needed for your stay. New appliances including an electric stove, wall oven, full size refrigerator and dishwasher. High quality kitchen tools, dishes, glasses and barware as well as and pots and pan are provided. Enjoy the coffee bar upstairs and downstairs, complete with a Drip style Coffee maker, a Keurig and French Press. Tea lovers will enjoy the Fellow Electric tea kettle. Organic coffee and tea provided.

All linens provided for your stay as well as a quality toiletries from Public Goods for your convenience.

Washer and Dryer available for your use along with Detergent.

Internet, DirectTV and two DVD/Blueray players are available to stay connected and watch your favorite shows.

We also welcome your four legged family members and provide a fenced dog run, plenty of pet friendly blankets so they can cuddle up with you while relaxing in the cabin, and doggie bags for easy cleanup outside.

So good we stayed again!

We had a wonderful time visiting in November so when we were coming back to the area in March we decided to stay at Bear Creek Cabin again.We love this property & location. Very clean, great amenities, excellent communication with the host, nothing negative to report. Highly recommend!

Cozy Cabin Getaway

The cabin is on a peaceful and private piece of land. It was clean and cozy! We enjoyed cooking, playing games, using the wood burning stove and relaxing in the hot tub. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and nice appliances. The showers were wonderful and had included soaps which was appreciated. We would suggest bringing your own pillows (but the beds are very comfortable!) and bringing ice as the ice maker wasn't functional. If you are looking to stay in the area we would definitely recommend this cabin!

This house is very beautiful, quiet and very clean. Our family had a wonderful time over christmas here. We enjoyed the hot tub and would really like to return - if we would not need to travel from germany... ;-)

PEACE AND QUIET

GREAT CABIN, LOTS OF GREAT UPGRADES, AWESOME HOT TUB, PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO COOK, HAVE COFFEE, ETC. COMFORTABLE BED WHICH IS REALLY IMPORTANT AS WE HAVE STAYED AT OTHER VRBO'S WHERE THE BEDS WERE NOT A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE AND WON'T GO BACK BECAUSE OF IT. PROBABLY THE BEST VRBO WE'VE EVER BEEN TO. Serene Creekside Family Hideaway

Our stay at the Bear Creek was absolute bliss! Nestled among towering trees and alongside a gentle creek. We had another home booked for a wedding that we were attending but it was heavily damaged from Hurricane Helene and we needed to find another home QUICK! I came across this home and it was everything we needed regarding size and sleeping arrangements. We were pleasantly surprised to learn it was only 7 minutes away from the wedding venue at Mountain Brook Vineyards. Couldn’t be any more convenient. Host was very responsive to questions and were a delight to work with. Home is beautiful and they have thought of everything to make your stay magical. Kitchen was well stocked and honestly can’t think of anything that we were missing. Beds were extremely comfortable, pillows were a little hollow but it’s hard to have the perfect pillow for everyone’s likes. Downstairs living room/game room was spacious and served as a bonus space for us. We were a family of 7 and everyone had their privacy and plenty of room. The wrap around porch was perfect to watch the sunrise and could’ve definitely spent more time out there if we had the time. Fire pit and hot tub were an added bonus and we enjoyed it. Plenty of firewood too. Loved the fact that there was so much acreage and couldn’t see any neighbors and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. This home far exceeded our expectations!! Loved everything about it!! *Can't Wait To Return!*

TIEC Convenient, comfortable and clean

The cabin was perfect for my clients and me to stay while showing at TIEC. Very spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable my dogs loved snuggling on the special blanket provided. I wish we had more time to enjoy the property. We will definitely book the next time we show there.

Great stay near Tryon

Thank you for hosting us! The home was cute and comfortable. The kitchen had tons of amenities. They provided an assortment of coffee, it was appreciated on such a hectic weekend at TIEC. They even had a kettle, and i wished I had brought my tea. The beds were comfortable. The low- Toxin soaps were appreciated. Loved having access to a washer and dryer, thank you! This was such a great place to go back and forth to TIEC. We'll definitely stay here again!

Great find to get away

Blissfully Perfect Bear Creek Cabin

Loved everything about our stay. Close enough to TEIC and a short drive to great restaurants in Landrum. The cabin is exactly as pictured, but even better in person! Loved the peaceful location with a view of nothing but trees, the creek, and nature. Everything you can possibly need for a restful stay - including total peace and quiet! Didn't bring the pups this trip, but you can and I was amazed as most dog-friendly properties aren't as nice as this. Would love to stay again with more time to take advantage of the fire pit, outdoor grill, and hot tub. Communication with the owner was easy. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay at Bear Creek Cabin.

Peaceful Retreat

We were traveling to the area for an equestrian event at Tryon. This home was ideal for unwinding at the end of long days. The peaceful bubbling of the creek in the backyard, while enjoying the warmth of a fire and seeing the deer as the sun was setting. You can't help but have fun with all of the options from board games to horseshoes to cornhole. The interior is beautifully decorated, comfortable, plenty of space and perfectly appointed. We'll be back for sure!

Wonderful Family Stay

Our family very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anybody else looking for lodging in the area. The house was spacious enough that the kids and parents all had plenty of space for gathering, or our own space for quiet and relaxation. The house was very pet friendly; our dog enjoyed exploring the large property, and made good use of the fenced-in dog yard and designated pet linens. Everything was well-stocked as far as linens, kitchen items, and other household necessities.There were plenty of great entertainment options available, both indoor and outdoor, for kids and adults alike. The pride the owners have in their property shows around every corner with the small details and cleanliness both inside and out. The location is especially convenient for anyone looking to catch a horse show at Tryon International Equestrian Center, or a round of golf over at Cleghorn! The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful and we will be back again soon.

They thought of Everything

Holly and JR have thought of everything and everyone in their beautiful home. From the moment we walked in we had everything we needed. Our family enjoyed cool nights by the fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub, and a few friendly competitions of foosball and Phase 10. They had towels for us to use for the hot tub and in the bathrooms, games to play for adults and children and any kind of dish or utensil we needed when cooking. My husband and I stayed downstairs and the mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, and coffee cups were such a nice amenity since my husband gets up so early. He was able to shut the bedroom door to not wake me and didn’t have to go upstairs to the main kitcje and wake anyone up sleeping in the loft area. He was then able to go out the door downstairs to enjoy the creek and coffee without disturbing anyone. We ventured out to three wineries and Equestrian Center, all within a ten minute drive. Holly and JR’s home truly is a gem and we will definitely be back.

Family time getaway!

This cabin/property was absolutely beautiful! It was VERY clean and the hosts paid attention to every little detail for a comfortable stay. Loved all of the extras- non toxic soaps, shampoos, cleaning products, organic coffee beans, etc… right up our alley! The kitchen was stocked with everything you need for making meals. Again, the hosts are very mindful of everything you might need. The fire pit, hot tub, outdoor/indoor games, basketball hoop- all made for lots of fun family time! We traveled with our 2 adult daughters/husbands and our teenage son. We would definitely stay again!
