"Very friendly staff."

"The staff was very helpful and check-in was seamless. Our room seemed like it was in the middle of a renovation so there were good and disappointing things. Lots of dance-floor space with no furniture. The was very little space for any clothing for anyone that likes to unpack and not live out of their suitcase for a week. The vinyl floor in our room was not at all clean...actually pretty nasty. The location was convenient for getting on the highway. Hopefully things will be better when...

"The staff was rude and it smelled like cigarettes in our room"

"The rooms have a musty smell, the evening front desk employee was extremely helpful and gave us another room, the smell wasn’t as bad but still musty. In the breakfast area there was not much of a selection so it’s more a continental breakfast. Although breakfast is until 10am, the coffee had finished by 9:30am. When we asked the morning front desk employee if we could get coffee, she stated coffee was done for the day, and this on a Sunday morning!!"

"Indoor pool was not open due to a maintenance issue, three days leading into their 4th of July weekend. Not as gracious when we left, no bottle of water, no fruit, no to go cookie. When your biggest amenity is out of order, you compensate your guests with extra care, an apology, a treat, something."

"A towel in the bathroom clearly wasn’t changed and had toothpaste from the last person and the beds looked stained, but it’s white linen so could just be old. Pillows and bed were comfortable and staff was friendly!"

"I liked the location. I didn't like the strong acid odor that started coming into my room my second week there. There was one front desk clerk very helpful. The parking was good. I did have a charge to my account after I checked in. The charge was done on a Sunday. No one would explain why? I had to ask for toilet paper and the General Manager acted as if I had insulted her for asking. The staff handling the breakfast bar and coffee bar was very helpful and kind."

"My stay at the Holiday Inn on Williamson Road in Roanoke, VA was excellent from start to finish. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, making the entire experience stress-free. The staff went above and beyond by checking in with us daily to make sure we had everything we needed. I also appreciated the added security. The elevators required a room key for access, which made me feel safe knowing only registered guests could access the guest floors. Great complimentary breakfast!! The...

"Office manager was very kind and response was very fast. The location is close to many convenient stores to buy food or some other travel items. There is a fire station next to the hotel and so I felt safe."
