"We were visiting our daughter & husband, and this accommodation was very convenient to them. The amenities were all first class: comfortable queen bed; thick plush towels; generous amount & quality of paper products; and more. Much nicer than some hotels we've stayed in. We would definitely stay here again."

"I have never been as comfortable at a VRBO than we were at Bear’s Rest. We live in North Carolina on a mountain, so we loved and appreciated the cabin feel and decor. Everything was top notch. The location was perfect, close proximity to our family, restaurants, and groceries but quiet and restful. We hope to be able to visit Bear’s Rest again!"

"Tried to contact host 4 times leading up to our stay. No response. We never received a response or access to the home. VRBO advised me they were cancelling our stay 1 hour after we were supposed to check in. Our last resort was a below average hotel. Don’t take your chances on this one"

"Enjoyed our stay! Beds comfortable and games were fun to play. Hot tub was clean and relaxing. Home is in a nice, quiet and safe neighborhood. "

"We were in town for a graduation. Great property for gathering with old friends and family. Convenient and very comfortable. Spotless and well stocked with necessities. We enjoyed the front porch, fire pit, card table, large dining table and very comfortable family room recliners. The off street parking was a bonus! Owner was very quick to respond to any questions. We will stay here again! "

"The house is very clean and comfortable. We had snacks and some beverages provided which came in handy. 15 minutes from the University of Dayton. My 92 year old father came and he could easily navigate around the house with his walker.The bathtubs are slippery though and can be challenging. My suggestion to Paschal is to please check that everything is working. The bedroom by the kitchen- the lamp does not work. And the fan remote in the living room was not functioning. "

"Easy to get to/from location to the local area. Nice quiet area. House was very acceptable for cost. Good information and easy to book/pay/check-in/checkout. Probably going to repeat visit to this location"

"Omar was extremely helpful and communicated very well. Every time I had a question, he responded within minutes. House was in a nice neighborhood and close to everything we needed and/or wanted. The deck was nice to hang out on when the weather was nice. Thanks again!"

"There was a little bit of confusion on how to actually access the place and that could’ve been just me and my thinking, however I did. I did finally gain access and the place was very clean. The pictures are very accurate. The property management people were very quick to communicate. If you need to navigate around the city, it’s very close to the highway interchange so you can get pretty much anywhere that you need to be quickly.. We were attending a local event and it was about 15 minutes...

"The apartment is beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. It is very homely with all the plants and terrariums. The location was great for all we wanted to do and street parking was always easy. Would unhesitatingly stay here again if we plan another visit to Dayton."

"For the past 40 years we have been driving from the Cleveland Area and visiting my sister's farm in Arcanum. I grew up going to this farm and it was like my own. When my sister (who is 13 years older than me) had to move to a retirement home it was devastating to think we could no longer come to the farm when we visit family as her grandson's family now lives there. But the Miami Pearl Home was to be our new normal and it was perfect for our family. Only 15 minutes to the farm we took to it...

"The house was lovely. Well cared for and fully remodeled. It had everything we needed, even an Alexa which the grandchildren danced to when they asked it to play songs. The neighborhood was nice, plenty of parking on the street, and a great fenced back yard. My only complaint was that the pillows were too fat as I like a fairly flat pillow. Great stay for our family of 9 attending our grandson's graduation."

"This location was perfect for us, out in the county but less than 10 minute drive to every place we needed to go to. Extremely clean and quiet area with a large kitchen area and plenty of space to spread out if you want to. Will be staying there again next year when we visit this area to see friends."
