"The staff were wonderful and very friendly. Quick check in progress. Hotel is nice one gripe for me was the glass doors on the bathroom so you could hear everything that was happening in the bathroom. The room we were in was on a very busy street and you could hear all the automobile and first responders noise. One thing I did not appreciate was that there was a lot of people coming back from the conference around the corner and they dedicated a elevator ro the night club with 40 paying hotel...

"If what you want is a historic property, you may love this. I am not the type of traveler that prefers small rooms, single pane windows and small staff. Truly, the hotel was lovely but the restrictions of such a property were a problem. I called to cancel but they would not let me. They said they would have it handled but the first day was far from OK. I asked for a medical refrigerator and it took almost 2 days to get one because of the limitation of stock. The people were polite. The maids...
