"This little place is great. Yes it’s older but perfect. Tons of room for a big family, very very clean. They allow pets which is a huge plus; they also have a fenced in yard & you can close the driveway gate so the dogs don’t get out. The view is absolutely beautiful. My only complaint was I messaged the rental property several times before our stay and they never got back with me.. that’s okay though. The dock is great and had a place for us to tie our boat to. "This was the perfect cabin, we went specifically to fish and the dock was outside the back door which made it nice to sit in our chairs and just relax while we fished. Loved the beautiful cabin, the screened in porch, and the hammock in the back yard. The community was a wonderful safe place to walk and enjoy a relaxing time. We will be back!"

"We needed a place to stay for a wedding so a friend and I booked this place. Overall the property was clean and well kept. Seemed new. The RV park that it’s in is not bad. We didn’t use any of the facilities but they looked nice and well kept. Some of the RVs have been there a long time. The space was nice. "We had a fantastic time at Raphael’s Retreat. The cottage had everything we needed for our family of 4. Our sons loved the attic room and Cascade Park. We used the cottage as a base camp for trips to Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Pike’s Peak Cog Railway, Florissant Fossil National Monument, and The Flying W Ranch. "I have done a lot of VRBO rentals and this house was the cleanest!!! Everything was perfection… comfy beds, beautifully stocked kitchen with spices, fresh coffee grounds, creamer and sweetener.. again, the cleanest kitchen, refrigerator, drawers, etc. In the bathrooms there are plenty of soft towels, full-size body wash, shampoo and conditioner… even special makeup remover wash cloths.The living room furniture was very comfortable. I loved this house and I will rent this place again!!"
