"We stayed for 2 nights. Upon arriving we immediately noticed mouse traps in every room which was a little unnerving; however, there did not appear to be evidence of live mice in the house. The towels did not smell fresh in downstairs bathroom. And the water pressure was terrible. If the downstairs water was running, there was no water in sink upstairs. There were no bed slats in one bed causing the mattress to fall on floor. Additionally, when we returned one evening, I notified host...

"Not as advertised; teeny. The photos made it look spacious. The front yard was being raked and seeded for grass when we arrived so there were broken branches on our path. The deck, table and chairs had not been cleaned and we're dirty and covered with leaf litter. The room had no comfy chair, only a floor lamp with a bare bulb. No hooks for hanging anything and no coat hangers. We left to find another place to stay and have been promised a refund that has not come through. Very disappointed!"

"A great property at a reasonable price. Jeff is the best host, and the communication couldn't be better. Had a small issue with the coffee maker and it was resolved within a few hours. Reserve this property with confidence that you'll be in good hands. Excellent! Note...the location of the property can be a little confusing until you understand it. Not the host's fault...just is what it is. It's simple, but look at a map before you arrive and you'll understand."

"This was the perfect size for us for a short stay. It had all the essentials, and it was clean and tidy. (We spend most of our time outside and away from our lodging when on vacation.) I discussed a couple of small concerns with the host, and he was very responsive. We would stay there again in the future."

"The location was a 10 minute drive from Boothbay and the rooms were newly renovated and very cute. But some of the furniture was coming apart during normal use. Biggest concerns were as follows:1. Very poor communication from host. They didn't provide us with entry information until the morning of, and didn't answer our messages. We ended up calling VRBO the night before as we were scared from the lack of contact. They got ahold of the host who finally answered us the night before arrival. At...
