We have to say that this was the best VRBO that we have stayed in! Every detail was thought of to make our month long stay comfortable. Rich and Tisha were so kind and were always available if we had a question. We wish we had found this place years ago!

Lovely country guesthouse stay

We enjoyed 2 months at the Wallace Farm Guesthouse. The house was very comfortable & clean and the bed was very comfortable. When we arrived there were bottles of water, cereal, eggs and other items too numerous to mention. We had everything we needed for our stay and Rich and Tish were amazing hosts. We loved watching the animals and made trips to New Bern and other areas. Highly recommend a stay here.

The Ultimate Getaway

Host Rich, a fine warm-hearted Southern Gentleman, opened his lovely guesthouse to us. If you're lucky enough to book this gem, you won't be disappointed. Perfect quaint location for my genealogy needs, and sweet local towns to explore are nearby. Also this property is very close to explore the coast. Rich and Tisha are very generous supplying a few breakfast items and coffee. We didn't need the washer and dryer, but so nice to know it was there. Can't say enough good things about this feel at home, comfy get away. you wont be disappointed

Peaceful Retreat on a Farm

The Wallace Meadow Farm guest house was exactly what I needed. Rich and Tisha have created a wonderful venue to unplug, relax and recharge. The house is private, very clean and well stocked. I enjoyed a view of the pond with fountain from the primary bedroom. There is a full gym and walking trail around the perimeter of the property. I also liked that I could get into New Bern within 25 minutes. Rich would check in with me from time to time (nothing instrusive) just to make sure I didn't need anything. I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely farm.

Sweet Retreat

Wallace Meadows is a beautiful destination nestled in the peace and quiet of country living. My fiancé, our dog Jax and myself spent the weekend here and loved every minute of it. Jax enjoyed the fresh air and being able to explore the grounds. The owners have thought of everything you could need in the home and more. This was the most relaxing stay we have ever had and we cannot wait to have an excuse to return.

Another Great Stay!

Our second stay at this property and it never disappoints! Our boys (9 and 6) had a great time. Very dog friendly. Everything was clean and in great shape. We can't recommend this enough!

Beautiful Guesthouse - Exceptional Hosts!

We were excited to come back and stay at the Wallace Meadows Farm guesthouse. Truly a beautiful gem! The amenities are top notch, the house is immaculate, incredibly comfortable beds and the hosts Rich and Tish really think of everything from a well stocked kitchen with essentials to extra special touches such as a welcome bottle of wine gift and thoughtful essentials in the refrigerator. Family and pet friendly and a gym and sauna such a wonderful place, highly recommend staying at this beautiful property!

Total package

This property is the total package. There’s nothing to improve upon. The inside is modern and immaculate, the outside is panoramic stunning country beauty and that includes a close view of the livestock. The gym and sauna was a huge bonus too! Rich was very nice and welcoming. I recommend anyone staying here get in on purchasing some VERY fresh eggs and beef. I love this place and can’t wait to come back.

Winter Escape

Our expectations for this property were high based on previous guest reviews. I can honestly say that our expectations were far exceeded. We were not weekend guests as we were guest for a month. The location for us was perfect as we could travel a short distance to Trenton for groceries at Piggly Wiggly, Subway for a quick lunch and finally Aggie's Pizza for one of the best burgers I've ever had. At this location you are about 20 minutes from downtown New Bern with it's fine dining and historic tours. The property was spotless and equiped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the gym was well equipped and my view from the bedroom deck with my morning coffee was beautiful/relaxing. We took short trips to Beaufort, Emerald Isle and visited a Turtle Rescue hospital. We will return for another visit!

Beautiful home!

Rich and Tisha are the best! We had fresh homemade turnovers, oj, and all kind of snacks. We really appreciate everything, and hope to visit again soon. We enjoyed the nice walk to the river just to take a breather from working. Thank y'all again for sharing y'all beautiful, welcoming home!

Engagement photo trip

My fiance and I have stayed at many places over the years and this is by far the best. We traveled with my 12 year old dog who absolutely loved the property. The house was spacious and very clean. The extra touches like breakfast food in the fridge and the coffee station made the trip so special. There was even an iron in the closet to help us look nice before our pictures. I can’t reccomend this place enough. The hosts are very kind and came over to say hello.

Farm Guest house

My wife and I rented the guest house from Rich and Tish along with our golden retriever. The house was nicer than expected and the hosts were great to deal with on the trip. I highly recommend renting the guest house if your looking in the area. V Hill

Most enjoyed vacation ever

My husband and I decided on a nice quiet time away, celebrating our 31st anniversary and were so fortunate to come upon this place after searching for private farm setting nearby with walking track. We wanted away from the noise and crowded streets we were looking for relaxation, peace and tranquility, and that is exactly what we found at Wallace Meadows farm Guest House. This place was simply amazing, and had everything that we could possibly have needed and more. Shortly after we arrived, Rich drove up on his Kubota to welcome us, and told us if there was anything we needed to please let them know. The guest house was well stocked with breakfast items, the danish pastries were delicious well-stocked with coffee, tea cereal , 0J, milk, bathroom items galore, comfortable bed, and a breathtaking view of their beautiful farm. We ask Rich for some eggs and hamburger, so shortly after Tisha came over with it and we had such a nice conversation. Their hospitality is second to none so down to earth and easy to talk to, and we absolutely love their golden doodle Ginger. Our shihpoo Boomer even loved her and he never likes bigger dogs. We mainly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony, listening to the peaceful sound of the water fountain, watching Rich each morning as he came out to feed the cattle. We took notice of how protective Dominick the donkey was over the cows. Loved the walking track all around the farm, and to top it all off we had the most amazing host ever!!

Grandson Visit

We were able to stay very close to our grandchildren while visiting. We were not traveling back and forth to a hotel taking an hour to make a round trip. This allowed us to visit longer and spend time with family. We appreciated the cleanliness of our unit and the hospitality of our host.
