"I booked hotel on the same day of the stay. It turns out a form must be filled in and completed prior to being allowed in just the hotel reception. Upon finding this detail out as I arrived at the hotel, it was quite the disappointing experience that cannot be matched by having an on site host. Once the information was submitted, followed by a secondary transaction of a significant sum in the reception to act as damage waiver, we were finally granted access to our room. Last September I ruptured my Achilles Tendon, this is still causing problems and the young lady on Reception - who also had a problem with a broken arm - was extremely helpful and we had a discussion with regards to how life is very difficult with limbs that are damaged! Lovely room - although the shape led to an odd small window and a large wall that gave the impression a window had been removed! We had a lovely time...

"We were in the rooftop attic room. Pro - hotel is in a very good location, convenient for exploring the town easily. The bathtub and shower were fantastic, great water pressure and temperature. The room itself was clean on arrival. Con - the white furniture and bed headboard are quite stained and filthy looking. The hotel owner needs to get it professionally cleaned or replaced. I had a small room that was actually a good size (typical cheap London size). It was tired and scruffy and the noise from the adjoining room and outside was a distraction. "
