"Another lower than expected stay when using hotels.com. The value does not reconcile to the experience, location and satisfaction. This property was one of three former residential. Thankfully it was one of three and the others were empty because on arrival the door to the property had leaves and debris that looked like it had been stored for sometime. "We could not have asked for a more fantastic place to stay. From arrival and check in, support from staff whilst we were there, location, quirky cabin... Proximity to the hills/ station/ pubs/ canal... Absolutely beautiful. The children loved the waterfall and the cabin itself... A log burner and a sofa to sleep on was a great asset for them. Waking up amongst the trees and being able to feed the ducks 10 meters away. We ate in the village and also had a takeaway... Great choice and fabulous...
