Wedding retreat

My friends and I were attending a wedding right down the road from this location and it was perfect… The place was extremely clean and comfortable. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Trout weekend

We enjoyed our stay, great fishing on the Borgman River. Place was clean and peaceful. Would highly recommend this place.

Perfect location

This property was in a great location, extremely clean, everything was perfect. The hostess was charming. I definitely would give this the highest rating in all categories and would stay there again if the need arise.

Very comfortable and clean, had everything we needed. Nice location by the river. Caring and pleasant owner was very respectful of our privacy but available if we needed something. I would stay there again, highly recommend.

We all enjoyed the comfortable “digs” and Tricia’s attention to detail. Especially nice to have coffee available. Saved us a trip to the store on our arrival. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Would definitely stay again if we travel in northern Michigan.

Can't wait to return!

The Guest House was in a perfect location to walking trails, Traverse City only a few minutes away, and great for downtime to relax. Our host, Tricia, was so welcoming and friendly. We look forward to returning and encouraging friends and family to stay at The Guest House.

This house is wonderful! Our stay was just perfect and we hope to stay here again! It was clean, well supplied, nice and cool even during a several day heat wave! We met Tricia upon arrival and she was delightful. Thank you and we hope to see you again in 2 years when we return!!

Such a Peaceful Spot!

Rivershire is an awesome place! It's a peaceful place, but close to everything! The cottage is so clean! We hosted a small family dinner (8). BBQ worked great. There was plenty of everything in the kitchen. Tricia was a great host. Great stay. Thank you!

Great place for a relaxing getaway!

super clean and very comfortable space. Beds are great and kitchen is well stocked. Very quiet with good access to the beautiful Boardman River. Good internet. Some road noise that quiets down at night. Tricia is an awesome host very anxious to please. My husband and our adult son had a wonderful stay and hope to return!

Beautiful location

We came for a wedding and this was a good location for hikes near the river, museums and shopping in Traverse City, a trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes, and the wedding on the peninsula. Tricia was very responsive to the minor issue we had and proactive when needed. Thanks Tricia

Loved our stay!

We rented the apartment for a week and just loved our stay! Rivershire has a beautiful setting on the river and we especially enjoyed relaxing by the river, feeling the flowing waters wash our stresses away. We also had a great time kayaking the river. The apartment is super comfortable and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. There is some road noise off and on during the day but it quiets down during the evening and we got used to it after the first day. Tricia is an awesome host and has a deep love and reverence for Rivershire. We really enjoyed getting to know her a bit. She respects guests’ privacy but is available if you need something or just want to chat. We look forward to staying at Rivershire again!

Clean and cosy

The condo/apartment was very adequate for the four of us. It was clean and comfortable and easy to get to. Although I had to borrow another friends pot because there wasn’t one big enough for pasta! Lol. Would stay there again.

We loved our time at Rivershire. Tricia was so nice and if anything came up she was quick to respond. The location was perfect for what we had planned in the area. We would book this location again if in the area.

Wonderful weekend getaway

Loved working with Trish to stay at her beautiful property! We were a last minute booking and she was wonderful to accommodate us. The townhouse easily held five of us with space for all of us. The property was well cared for with easy access to the water. Boardman River was great to float down with our tubes, next time we will bring kayaks too. The location was conveniently located to Traverse City and a 45 minute to one hour quick drive to charlevoix and Frankfort. We look forward to coming back and staying again!
