You won't be disappointed in this cute cabin designed with red, white, and blue decor. This cabin is nestled in our woods for your privacy. Enjoy the Leelanau County right in your backyard. If you are seeking an escape from the stresses of everyday life, you have chosen the right place.

You will enter the driveway from the main road, which will take you back to the cabin. This cabin will indeed be your home away from home. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, handmade furniture, accents, and a king-size bed. You can open the door onto a relaxing screened-in porch from the living room. Relax in the comfy chairs, admiring the quietness of the woods. Or sit in our swing and sip your favorite beverage, read a book, or relax. You may see some wildlife that will pass by during your stay. Take a bottle of complimentary wine and sip it outside on the patio, sitting on our cute bistro set. You can also relax at night by the fire table on the outside patio deck.

The cabin is convenient for many activities, restaurants, and beaches. The bike path is located approximately 1/2 mile from the cabin location. Traverse City and Suttons Bay are nearby. The nearest local winery is a short 2-minute drive north, deeper into Leelanau Peninsula wine country.

Whether you desire comfortable solitude while remaining in the cabin or prefer exploring the unique sites and activities the area offers, we assure you that you will have a wonderful time.

What a gem in the woods! While still very conveniently located a short drive from downtown TC, it also feels very off the beaten path, private and like you are in the middle of the woods. The whole property is so pretty. It feels very private but the host is nearby to help with anything. The house is perfectly appointed and the host has thought of absolutely everything a renter would need. It has a nice open feel and so many thoughtful touches. We requested a few very specialized things and our host immediately and happily accommodated us. You can tell they truly care about their renters. Communication was always super fast and thorough. The bed was quite comfy (and I am a picky sleeper). The shower is large with a nice shower head and very good water pressure. The surroundings are peaceful and serene. We love to cook on our trips and the kitchen/grill gave us all we would need to feel like home. I highly recommend this property and we will absolutely be back.

Great stay

We had the best stay at the Americana cabin! The location was great for us to feel like we were secluded but still a very short drive into Traverse City. They have other cabins on the property but they aren’t visible to each other. We also explored Sutton’s Bay, Leland, Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes! All were an easy drive. The owners left thoughtful touches (wine, fresh eggs, cherry salsa) and the cabin was very well equipped! Plus they had great recommendations of places to eat, etc. They had bikes available to ride, but we didn’t get the chance to use them! The whole area was beautiful and we’d highly recommending staying in one of their cabins.

My husband and I have stayed within this beautiful property several times. It is incredibly private. The owners have thought of everything for a quiet stay. They have constructed lovely cabins that provide peaceful surroundings, as well as upscale details within each cabin. The proximity to Traverse City allows for access to restaurants and other activities, but if you want to cook, you have fantastic appliances and accoutrements to do so. The bed is very comfortable. You’ll have wonderful linens. Plus bikes!

Enjoyed our stay at the “Americana” cabin in traverse City. The cabin was secluded, but still close to everything we wanted to do. The property was immaculate and the best stocked place we have ever stayed. It’s really about the details!

Hidden Gem

We've stayed in many rentals before, this was without a doubt our best experience ever. Beautiful property, setting and decor. This little cabin has everything you could ever want. The hosts communication and care for what they do is over the top. Wonderful, can't wait to come back.

Winter Wonderland

All of the three properties are stunning along with the woodlands. Beth and Terry have thought of all the creature comforts and then some. The Christmas tree was perfect for the season. This was about our 5th time staying here and I guarantee there will be many more.

Perfect Weekend.

This is our second time staying with these hosts and it won't be the last. The cabin feels secluded, but with easy access to all that the area has to offer. The cabin is perfectly outfitted with all the things you need as well as the extras. We are already planning a return trip next year. Cannot recommend this place more highly!

A great Cabin in the woods

A great experience. We love staying at these cabins. Very secluded in the woods and private. Very comfortable and is exactly what we need. It's the only place we book when we visit Traverse City.
