Villa San Cataldo is an enchanting pearl, located between the towns of Terrasini (6 km), Trappeto (4 Km) and Partinico (7 Km), with a view of the Gulf of Castellammare and Città del Mare. The house is surrounded by a large and well-kept lawn with beautiful ornamental plants, equipped with a swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests. The poolside sunbathing area is equipped with deck chairs, table with chairs, gazebo and barbecue. The large veranda, attached to the house, includes a relaxation area with lounge and table football, as well as a comfortable dining area. In the lawn area there is a pergola with table and chairs where you can refresh yourself with a drink. There is also ample space for car parking and children's play. The house, at the complete disposal of guests, consists of a large kitchen area living room, a bathroom and three bedrooms, one double, one twin and one single. Outside there is a further kitchen and bathroom serving the pool. The property is at the complete disposal of guests.
The maintenance and care of the greenery and the pool cleaning and control will be carried out by the property at times agreed with the guests. In relation to the location of the villa it is essential to be equipped with a car. The nearest supermarket is 4 Km. Pets are not allowed. Furthermore, the property would like an appropriate use of the villa and all that it contains, as if it were its own. Smokers are kindly requested to abstain inside the house. A rational use of water and electricity is also welcome. The villa is located in a quiet resort area, easily accessible from Palermo - Mazzara del Vallo (2 km from the junction). The location is strategically close to the municipalities high tourist attraction of Terrasini (6 Km), Castellammare del Golfo (22 km), the most beautiful beaches of the area such Trappeto Ciammarita (3 Km), Balestrate (7 Km), Zingaro and Scopello (30 km) and the famous San Vito Lo Capo (63 Km). They are also close to some of the most important historical sites of the area, such as Palermo and Monreale (40 km), Segesta (33 Km), Erice (70 Km). The location above cennate be reached by car from 5 to 45 minutes.

We stayed here for a week and had the most fantastic time. The villa is an oasis of calm overlooking the sea, with spectacular gardens and a superb pool. The owner, Salvatore, is a true gentleman, always available if you need him but hugely respectful of your space and privacy. This place is a true gem and we will most definitely be back.

I can’t say enough about this place and mostly about Salvatore who has helped us during our stay as if he were family showing us the island! If we ever come back to Sicily we will stay nowhere else but at Sals villa. We were created with treats and he helped us find an old town my dad’s family was from, we truly will remain close with him going further. As for the villa, it was clean and beautifully kept up. The property is immaculate! My daughter is 18 months and she loved running around the grounds and chasing the little cat that came around. We are grateful to have stayed here.

Villa San Cataldo is an amazing villa. The grounds, the pool, the sea and mountain views, and of course the beautiful sunset. It has everything you would need and it is immaculate. The owner, Salvatore, was an amazing host who works hard to keep the villa spotless. Nothing was much bother for Salvatore and he gave us brilliant tips about places to visit and eat, on top of much appreciated "treats". A car is needed and within a short drive you can reach supermarkets/ restaurants/ the beach.... If you are after a villa as a base to explore Sicily, look no further, Villa San Cataldo and Salvatore will make your experience a most pleasant one.

Paradise

The villa itself is compact and homely but the gardens, pool and views are paradise. There is an outside kitchen and large wood-fired bbq and several seating areas to enjoy the far reaching views. The pool was clean and there were plenty of sun loungers. The palm trees give shade when required and are so relaxing to watch waving in the breeze. The host is an absolute gem - full of advice, knowledge and generosity.

Tolle Herbsttage auf Sizilien

Von Anfang an war alles stimmig mit dem Vermieter als auch dem Haus mit dem erfrischenden Pool. Salvatore war schon im Vorfeld unseres Urlaubs eine geduldige und tipps gebende Person. This is Paradise

We think Salvatore and his gorgeous wife Luanna would have to be the most incredible hosts of any hotel or stayz that we have ever stayed at. As soon as the gates open you are in paradise. It is absolutely beautiful and the outdoor area and pool is magnificent, with beautiful water views. Our stay was for 3 weeks and we were very sad to leave. Salvatore would bring us breakfast, give us recommendations for travel and restaurants and would check up on us via message to make sure we were ok. We had friends coming separately and he found them accommodation close by. He is a beautiful man who just wants to make your stay as incredible and as much like your own home as he can. And the veggie and fruit garden….unreal to just pick as you go. It will be very difficult to go anywhere else for a holiday as we will always compare our accommodation and hosts to Villa San Cataldo and Salvatore. Grazie Mille Salvatore e Luanna…ci manchi gia …. The Photographs do not do justice to the Villa once the gates open .There is a magnificent Garden with Multiple Seating areas , a Vast Swimming Pool with all that you need for your Sicilian Getaway . However the finest thing about the property were the owners namely Salvatore and Luana who could not do enough to ensure your stay was as trouble free as they could make it , checking Daily via TXT if everything was OK and Making impromptu visits bearing pastries from local patisseries or Vegetables from their extensive smallholding ,Salvatore was a True Gentleman and would rate the stay 100 out of 10 and would not hesitate recommending this Villa to anyone Fino alla prossima volta che il mio amico stara bene e al sicuro Best Regards Chris and Lynn from Staffordshire England

Perfect stay

Wir waren eine Woche zu Gast in der Villa Cataldo zu und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Pool und Außenanlagen sind top-gepflegt und liegen inmitten einer Olivenplantage mit Blick aufs Meer. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind spektakulär. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und perfekt eingerichtet, es mangelt wirklich an nichts. In keinem Ferienhaus durften wir es bislang erleben, dass selbst alle kleineren Gebrauchsgüter von Klopapier, Küchenrollen, Fön, selbsthergestelltes Olivenöl, Gewürze, Hygieneartikel im Bad, Wasser, etc. bereitgestellt wurden. Der Vermieter Salvatore hat die Villa vorher selbst bewohnt und man spürt das damit verbundene Herzblut - ein wahrer Superhost, der sich rund um die Uhr um uns gekümmert hat (von Locationempfehlungen bis hin zu kulinarischen Gastgeschenken). Wahnsinnig toller Aufenthalt, absolut zu empfehlen - wir kommen wieder! Peter mit Familie

Sicilian Paradise

Villa San Cataldo is paradise. Salvatore has created an oasis on the Tyrrhenian sea. The grounds of the villa are verdant bliss with sweeping and unobstructed sea, mountain, and garden views. Beautiful manicured ornamental plants and trees cover the private resort setting - simply amazing - the space is huge. The pool, outdoor kitchen, and everything is wonderful. The location was fantastic - a great base for western Sicily. Just far enough from Palermo, wonderfully convenient to the airport (with no air traffic noise) and outstanding restaurants, grocery, and top Sicilian bakeries close. We swam at the free public beach, a three minute drive, daily. There are local preserves, hiking, beaches, and grottos all quite close. But, you may never want to leave the oasis that is the villa. I ran daily on the local roads, the area is lovely. WIFI was very fast with no complications and there is a very nice T.V. Salvatore is a Sicilian legend; a consummate host (also, with perfect English!) We were welcomed and treated with exceptional grace, like family, and received honest and helpful recommendations for experiencing any part of the islands. We are most grateful for his generosity and help. I would recommend this villa to even the most discriminating travelers. A Sprinkling of Sicilian Star Dust

Just got back from a sublime stay at an amazing villa that has been loving created by its owner - Salvatore! He really has thought of everything. The outside space is outstanding - with the pool up front and center surrounded by an incredibly large landscaped terrace incorporating several dining/lounging areas, a barbecue area, an outdoor kitchen, an outdoor bathroom and a view to die for!!!. Best of all is Salvatore himself. The most amazing host we've had the good fortune to encounter. He makes you feel like one of the family, brings fresh croissants and arancini balls on a morning and offers help and advice at any time of the day/night - a real gentleman! So in short - don't have any hesitation in booking this Villa - you will not be disappointed!

Paradise

We knew Salvatore’s place was going to be special but the reality was even better! From the palm-fringed pool to the sunsets over the sea, the ambience could not be better. Then, there was Salvatore: a gentleman who could not do enough, whose care, help, ready smile, croissants and home-grown fare made this truly special. Thank you, Salvatore! We enjoyed exploring places near (Terrasini and Castelemare del Golfo) and further away (Segesta, Erice, San Vito, Agrigento). A wonderful, wonderful holiday.

A gentleman and his beautiful villa.

A wonderful experience. Villa was everything you could want. An amazing outside area where the jasmine smelt beautiful and the sunsets were to die for. Peaceful surroundings with beautiful lemon trees and olive groves in the garden. Very tranquil. The villa was very clean and functional. There were 2 kitchens… we mainly cooked in the outside kitchen. 2 shower rooms…. We also tended to use the outside units. Very well stocked….. shampoos, water, coffee, biscuits etc. Salvatore was a true gentlemen. He was very gentle, courteous and kind. He wanted you to have a wonderful experience and would really help in any way he could. He brought us croissants of a morning from the wonderful White Cafe and showed us the best attractions locally…. From beaches to castles to restaurants. Enjoy talking to him….he will enjoy talking to you. You will learn so much about beautiful Sicily. You may even get yo jet his beautiful wife. We were lucky enough to go out for a lovely pizza with these two. It was magical. You will want to go back again and again. We do.

Super Villa mit wunderschöner Aussicht

Eine super schöne Villa in ruhiger Lage mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht auf das Meer und die umliegenden Hügel/Berge. Es sieht schöner aus als auf den Bilder zu sehen. Salvatore kümmert sich sehr sehr gut um seine Gäste, hatte immer einen Tipp für einen Ausflug oder ein Restaurant in der Nähe für uns. Bei unserer Ankunft gab es kalte Getränke im Kühlschrank und frisches Obst auf dem Tisch. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und er war jederzeit erreichbar sollte es doch noch Fragen geben. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen, da man kurze Wege zu tollen Ausflugszielen hat, aber mit dem schönen Pool und dem Garten auch einfach ganz entspannt vor Ort bleiben kann, sollte man einen Tag pure Entspannung suchen. Sehr schöne Villa mit privatem Pool direkt vorm Haus und Blick aufs Meer. Für heißes Wetter sogar Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer. Tolle persönliche Betreuung durch Salvatore, der für alles da war und uns sogar Croissants mitgebracht hat. Und wir durften das leckere Gemüse aus seinem Garten nutzen. Mille Grazie, Salvatore!

Fantastic villa with great views!

Truly memorable week enjoying the NW of Sicily and incredible hospitality of Salvatore. We have stayed in many villas but never has a host gone to such length to ensure our experience was top notch! He showed us around the area including coffee and cheese shops, booked restaurants and gave advice about visiting local sites such as Erice, Segesta, Castellmare and Zingaro reserve. Relaxing at the villa in between trips was a dream with fantastic pool and facilities. We would recommend anyone to stay here as you will not be disappointed!

A truly wonderful location

Villa San Cataldo is a fantastic place to stay and we cannot recommend it enough. As soon as the gates open, you are met with a breath taking view set in wonderful grounds. The pool and outdoor area are of an exceptionally high standard and it has been a joy to stay here. The ‘Jewel in the Crown’ at Villa San Cataldo is the owner Salvatore - a wonderful host. Nothing is too much trouble and he ensures that your stay at his beautiful villa is truly a memorable one. We will definitely be staying again - a very special place.

Best Vacation EVER!

Villa San Cataldo is a stunning property with magnificent views of the ocean and mountains, beautiful manicured grounds and plenty of amenities. The property is gated and it was as if we were on a private oasis....just the beautiful Sicilian scenery and sounds of nature. We never even heard a car driving by..... it was just perfect! However, Salvatore was an unbelievable host. He was always available, checking on us during our stay and bringing wonderful Siciilian food! In truth, the villa is breathtaking and it is a reflection of Salvatore’s kind and warm spirit....it was as if we were coming home to family, not a rental property. I have traveled through Italy and nothing compares to the hospitality and graciousness of Salvatore. Anyone who decides to rent this villa will be very satisfied.....I am so satisfied that I have already booked my dates for 2020!

Paradise

Villa Contaldo is a joy. When the gates opened, and the grounds and view appeared, all my troubles and cares disappeared. It’s really glorious. Salvatore, the owner, is the nicest person in the world. He is so generous with his time, helpfulness, scrumptious treats and his sincere desire for his guests to enjoy themselves. We are a family of 4 with 12 year old children, so we had a car and explored Agrigento, Segesta, Cefalù (twice !), Scopella, Castellammare del Golfo, Monreale and more. Greek temples, clear turquoise waters to swim in, Byzantine churches. Then this oasis property to return to, well stocked, clean, comfortable and breathtaking. I highly recommend this property. It has been said before and will be said many times, Salvatore’s house is a piece of paradise.
