"A real gem on the river. The host was amazing and quickly responded to my questions. We truly loved this peaceful cabin surrounded by trees. Nature abounded: bears, eagles, otter playing in the river, kingfisher hunting, geese flying in formation above the water, truly a nature lovers destination! The sunroom was a favorite for coffee in the am, wine in the evening, chatting or reading or simply watching the flow of the river. Cabin is well stocked and nicely appointed. "Our family of four, along with our puppy, stayed here over Thanksgiving and had a wonderful experience. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. "This was probably the best equipped cabin we'd ever stayed in. It was exactly as described and we loved everything about it. We're both from East TN so we're very familiar with mountain roads. Our host Tim was fantastic. Always replied within minutes before our arrival which by the way we were able to check-in an hour early which was great after driving 4 hours. "Cabin was rustic and charming with all the amenities we required. And it was very clean! Great location within a few minutes of restaurants and stores. Townsend is a great area to stay in to avoid the touristy areas and have some peace and quiet. We took day trips and had a wonderful time exploring the Smokies!"
