"Charming 3-level cottage with very cosy tv-lounge on lowest level. Street-level entry is to the kitchen area and main bathroom and 2 bedrooms are upstairs. Freshly decorated and clean. Bigger cars will struggle navigating the tiny lanes to park outside the property; that said, a rather large builder's van working across the road had no trouble. Overall, very good."

"Great location between Clitheroe and great walks. Super pubs within 5 to 10 miles. Cottage roomy, beautifully warm with super wood burning stove. Beds comfy and kitchen well equipped . Owner very welcoming and quick to respond to any issues. Furnishings a bit tired and a stale smell of dogs, especially in the main bedroom."

"On arrival Monday 4.30pm, this is a really lovely property, clean & tidy, parking not a big issue, quiet street, but the property was freezing cold, heating thermostat set at OFF, boiler was on. Boiler water very low topped up nothing. Hottub cold was 29°. We went through welcome pack no owner details, no heating details, hottub details 3 pages of, do's & don't's, main detail for hottub was DONT TOUCH TEMP BUTTONS. "This property was in need of updating. The rings had detached from the curtains, making them difficult to close. The tv was outdated. The frying pan had a very loose handle. The shower lacked power and the hot water only seemed to come on at around 8am, no good if you like to shower earlier. The bed was very comfortable, pillows were very cheap and bumpy."

"Lovely clean cottage with a really nice welcome pack, about a 5 minute walk into town where there are lots of pubs and resturants, lovely little bar next to the canal, parking was abit tight and reversing out was tricky but manageable, Could of done with a small hand basin in the toilet so you dont have to go along the landing to the bathroom to wash your hands and maybe a shelf in the bathroom to put your toiletries on, bit tricky trying to balance a bar of soap on the side of a roll top bath."
