Clean and convenient

I visited Milton for the weekend to attend a sporting event. The property is in a convenient location near to the venue, was very clean and was a comfortable place to rest during my short stop over. Will stay again in the future.

We got to the property late at night and even though it was a self check-in process, the owner came out the door and still gave us a short tour of the property and made us feel comfortable. He was also very hospitable with our requests. I would re-book in his property if I ever need a place to stay just outside Toronto again!. 10/10

When I booked it was $55 a night and I just needed a place to sleep but after the additional fees and taxes it was nearly $90 a night. my girl guides were camping and I needed to be nearby. I arrived after 11pm and used the code to enter at the garage. It took a few tries as I wasn’t familiar with the keypad and it required a long press. When I got downstairs I was hit with a very masculine scent that was not pleasant. I used my key to enter my room and the bed had a bottom sheet and a comforter folded on top with two horrible pillows (they were lumpy and firm). The comforter smelled of body oils and cologne. I went to the restroom and there were small black hairs all over the floor and the sink /vanity was not clean. There were no towels! Nothing to even dry my hands with. I looked everywhere. I had to use toilet paper!! It was quite chilly as well and I couldn’t get the little heater working. I looked for a blanket in the empty closet in the room but it was empty. I messaged the host and he gave me directions the next day on how to get a towel as he was at work. I told him I wouldn’t be back until 11pm. He asked if I wanted additional cleaning but I didn’t get the message. When I returned, still no towels. So I followed his Instructions (which ended up being incorrect). I was super annoyed. He also said there were no extra blankets. Each room should be made with sheets, blankets that are fully washable, and a towel set. Do better!

I wasn't told there would be someone else there at all, and it was pretty odd to arrive and see that I wasn't alone there. I ended up staying somewhere else after the 2nd night.

I liked the neighborhood, it's calm and quiet. For the purpose of our trip, the room was enough with just a bed, a desk and a wardrobe. There are 2 rooms and a shared space, you are only renting one room here in Expedia. Communication via Expedia chat is almost impossible, I recommend talking to the host directly via cellphone or WhatsApp. The space is very clean and nice, we didn't have any problems with the shared spaces and bathroom. The only thing we didn't like was a heavy odor of tobacco in the bathroom that simply couldn't go away. But apart from that we are very happy with the place and our stay.

There were two of us, but only one towel was provided and there were no face cloths. Left door on the wardrobe needs to be adjusted. It closes with a loud bang so I propped it open with a shoe. Everything was very clean and it is well located for a visit to my family.

I had to constantly move my vehicle for the owner as the basement can be shared between two guests, I would be settling in for bed and receive messages about moving. Otherwise everything was good.
