"Al, the host, is definitely what makes the stay memorable. He is a very sweet, talented, and generous man. The home itself was very comfortable for my husband and me, and our two dogs. The kitchen and living area were a good size, and there are four bedrooms! The home is close enough to the downtown area to walk to the shops and restaurants, and the waterfront is just beyond that. "The property is very remote, tucked into the neighborhood. Unfortunately, there was no direct access to the lake. The cabin was simple and rustic. Since we were just staying overnight, it worked out very good for us.We had breakfast at the local restaurant where we were seated on the back porch overlooking the lake. The food was excellent and a great start to the day."

"We loved our stay at Acorn Cottage! The cottage was easy to get to, and it was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. "Our family stay at this cabin was absolutely phenomenal! The hosts were amazing—kind, courteous, and incredibly thoughtful.
